2020 : Year in Review
As we near Christmas and the end of another year, I enjoy looking back to reflect. It’s my annual tradition to recap the top 10 blog posts of each year (aka- YOUR favorites), along with some milestones, events, my personal favorite projects, and achievements. Click through for a look at Room for Tuesday in 2020. So much happened this year and I owe each and every one of you a big thank you for showing up, offering encouragement, and sharing your friendship with me this year. 2020 has certainly been a year full of ups & downs, but there have many many bright spots and accomplishments as well!

Let’s count them down from ten…
#10 // Color Matching Our Kitchen Cabinets
This is my most asked question, “What color are your kitchen cabinets?!” It was only fitting that I decided to create a blog post to suggest similar colors. I’m not surprised this one has been super popular this year. I still love our beautiful, dark cabinetry… and I’m glad you do, too!

#9 // Office Kitchenette Makeover
Emmett and I laughed that we couldn’t even go a year without a kitchen makeover- even if it’s just a tiny kitchenette, we’re still counting it. This space has been making us very happy lately, now that we’re spending so many hours at the office!

#1 // Formal Living Room Reveal
Last January, we finally finished our living room. It was very past due for the One Room Challenge, but I’m really glad we ended up doing things our own way and taking our time. It turned out exactly as I had envisioned and we use this room every single day. It’s beautiful and functional!

PERSONAL EVENTS…
Aside from a few safe, social distancing trips- like camping remotely and road tripping to the Oregon coast, we primarily stayed home, worked a lot, and tried to embrace this interesting year. We had some high highs and low lows this year, but despite the roller coaster that was 2020, I’m thankful for so many things.
One thing that took up a majority of our time and creativity this year was launching our shop, Tuesday Made. It has been such a joy, passion project, and pleasure to curate beautiful decor, home furnishings, and work with makers, artists, and small businesses around the world. I’ve loved connecting with you and creators in this new way. I’m truly grateful and excited for what’s to come as we are just beginning our journey with the store.
