#7 Shibori DIY

This bathroom I helped design and photograph for the annual show house was definitely a hit. Many people fell in love with that gorgeous floor tile!
Surprisingly, our hallway was the most popular room from our Ohio home- or at least the room post you guys liked best! What I would give to have that wallpaper and vintage runner back.

The only recipe that made it into the top 10 posts of 2016 was this delicious cookies and cream cake… and for good reason! This is still one of my very favorites.
Everyone wanted to know how we made these bifold paneled closet doors. I finally shared the tutorial and it was a hit-especially on Pinterest! It’s definitely one of my favorite renovation DIYs to date.
The number one post of 2016 (by a landslide) is a plants and gardening topic… how to repot a fiddle leaf fig tree! These popular houseplants are known to be finicky. I shared a full proof tutorial for repotting them and caring for them year round.
Although the following posts didn’t make it into the top 10… they were the biggest events in my personal life this past year.
