May Moodboard

Natural Wood Trend We have officially been doing monthly moodboards for one year now! That seems so crazy to me. I remember when I first got inspired to start this series- I’m SO glad it was well received and you guys like it as much as I do. I really enjoy putting these together. Let’s dive right into what I’m feeling this month… natural wood! Click through to see my favorite pieces and read why I’m excited about this upcoming trend…

Natural or blonde wood is one of my favorite materials because of the soft, organic finish. It’s inviting, warm, textural, you can see the subtle pattern in the grain, and it looks great with pretty much any style or aesthetic.

I have lots of favorites from this one, but hands down the best find is that wood and iron bench (#7)!! I’m here to tell you that is a goooood piece- and you can’t beat the price. I tried to find a place in my house for it because I love it so much, but sadly we just don’t have room for a bench anywhere… and believe me, I floor planned. Aside from that glorious thing, I love the weird little prism objects (#3), they’d be easy to style into a shelf, coffee table, or bedside table. I’m also digging the storage baskets. Those would be amazing in a laundry room or kids room.

What do you guys think? Do you have favorites from the collage this month? Just for fun, since it’s our moodboardiversary (ha!), you can check out all the posts from May to May below…

I love this look Sarah. It’s so fresh, and so bright! Question, where is the mirror from?
