Wayfair Patio Finds I’d Buy Again
I’ve gone through enough patio furniture, decor, and outdoor accessories to know what actually works and what doesn’t. The pieces in this roundup are the ones I’ve loved for years. They’re items I’ve owned, use regularly, and still love. They’ve held up through the seasons, look beautiful, and feel just as functional as they did on day one. Everything on this list has my designer stamp of approval. These are the patio finds I’d genuinely buy again… not just because of their timeless aesthetic, but because they’re versatile and actually hold up. If you’re designing your patio or just looking for a few upgrades, save this list!

Our backyard and patio has seen many iterations. Most recently, we tiled over the existing concrete patio, added our outdoor kitchen, and swapped our sectional for cozy backyard lounge seating- with four oversized chairs. No matter the stage or phase of our ever evolving outdoor spaces, there have been some constant pieces we’ll always keep in the mix. You can find them on this list…
How I Think About Patio Design

When I’m sourcing outdoor furniture and decor from Wayfair, I’m not looking for anything overly trendy. Outdoor pieces go through a lot, and styles shift quickly. The goal is always to create a foundation that still feels relevant a 4-5 seasons from now. I come back to the same principles every time… clean lines, neutral tones, and materials that get better with age (and hold up to our harsh climate). Once that base is in place, it’s easy to change things up. That’s what makes a patio feel layered instead of temporary.
My Patio Styling Checklist

Before I call an outdoor space finished, I always run through a mental checklist. If one of these is missing, things usually feel off. It’s less about adding more and more about making sure the basics are covered… maybe my list will be helpful for your own.
- Seating that feels comfortable and balanced.
- There’s a surface for drinks, food, or books.
- Lighting that works for evenings.
- Greenery that adds softness and life.
- Textiles to ground and anchor a space.
- Furniture that feels classic rather than trendy.
- Functional additions for hosting and gathering.
- Practical accessories- like citronella candles.
- Storage and appropriate covers to keep things protected when not in use.

10 Wayfair Patio Items I’d Buy Again

These are all pieces that have withstood the test of time, have held up well on our patio, and we use regularly- ranging from a year to over a decade! They’re functional, classic, and easily blend with any aesthetic. Some are budget pieces, others are an investment, but all have my designer approval. Read more about each below…
Woven Lounge Chairs
We purchased these chairs a year ago, and left them out all winter long. Not only are they oversized and super comfortable, but they’ve held up well against the elements. I love the timeless shape and classic woven aesthetic. The cushions are outdoor performance fabric, so water or liquid beads up on them for easy cleaning and care.
Outdoor Dining Table
We’ve had this outdoor dining table for over a decade… you read that correctly- and it’s still going strong! It’s spacious, fits six comfortably, has yet to rust (thanks to powder coating), and fits our traditional style. This is one that will withstand the test of time and your ever-changing aesthetic.
White Garden Stool
I can never have enough classic white garden stools. I use them as side tables, an extra surface to sit a drink, a worktop in the garden, or as a floating chair around the fire pit. They’re versatile and timeless. Wayfair has a lot of great options… my advice is to stick to a specific color palette, in varying shapes, sizes, and patterns. In my case, I’ve been investing in white.
Outdoor Area Rug
I purchased this area rug a few years ago, but it was since discontinued… this is the updated pattern available. It’s a classic weave with a subtle pattern that is quick to clean, hides dirt easily, and matches any outdoor aesthetic.
Bistro Chairs
We’ve had a pair of these bistro chairs for over seven years now, and they’re phenomenal. They have that timeless French aesthetic that doesn’t read too coastal.
Marble Bistro Table
Contrary to popular belief, marble (as a material) does great outside… just look to Europe for inspiration. I love having a marble bistro table on our bedroom balcony. It offers the perfect place to unwind with a glass of wine, or start the morning with journaling and coffee. A marble bistro table is the ultimate timeless patio piece!
Terracotta Planters
I’m not sure exactly how many terracotta planters I have at this stage in life, but it’s a hefty collection. These never go out of style and are my favorite way to add texture, color, and greenery to any outdoor space. I have them in all shapes and sizes.
Outdoor Patio Umbrella
I received this black and white patio umbrella as a gift, and while it wasn’t something we really needed at the time… I can tell you- we use it ALL the time, all summer long. Six years in, it has held up incredibly well. It still looks bright white, functions perfectly, and offers us some much needed shade on the patio.
Custom Bordered Doormat
You know I love a simple, monogrammed doormat. They’re an easy budget-friendly addition to style in front of an entry door to the backyard or patio.
Seeded Glass Exterior Sconce
Last, these inexpensive exterior sconces have been an easy and classic investment. With seeded glass panels, they look far more expensive than they actually are- and almost a decade after installing them… they still look brand new.

How I Keep It From Feeling Overdone
It’s really easy to over-style outdoor spaces, especially when everything is readily available and designed to match. Instead, look at your outdoor space with an editing eye… a couple of pillows, not ten, a few lanterns or candles instead of filling every corner, and one or two standout pieces that add interest. When everything is competing for attention, nothing actually stands out. The goal is to make it feel inviting, functional, and lived in- not perfectly styled. I always look to nature and keep organic, natural forms in mind.

We’ve had patio furniture in the past that looked great but wasn’t comfortable. No one used it. It just sat there looking pretty, which is honestly a waste. Now I filter everything through a simple question. Would I actually sit here with my coffee in the morning or wind down here at night? If the answer is no, I move on. That one shift has made our outdoor space feel so much more usable.

Questions?
It was actually here when we moved in, but I found an almost identical one from Wayfair! I’m linking it here.
This one has my vote! It feels historic, classic, and very European… it won’t go out of style. Or, if you’re looking for a budget friendly option- I also like this one.
I actually shared a complete tutorial with images and a supply list, here… how to easily tile over an existing concrete patio.
