Living Space I

This is the room that initially captured my attention and stopped me mid scroll… can you even believe those oak built-ins? Paired alongside modern art & furniture, this collected and curated grand room seems comfortable & approachable, despite its high design. I noted so many styling elements that felt inspiring.

Home Office

Next, I perused the home office or study. The captivating wine wall color certainly has the ability to pull you in. It’s a cozy space, with particularly interesting millwork. How about that nailhead looking detail? I also adored the marble fireplace and textural rug… but most of all- that chandelier.

Did you notice the feet on the drafting desk? How about the crystal table lamp? I also noted the modern treatment of the gas fireplace insert. Interesting, right?

Kitchen & Dining Room

There was only one featured image of the modern kitchen, but I would like to see more. From the cognac bar stools to the pendants and stone, this minimalistic space does seem quite functional.

The dining room has a modern, yet inviting feel. The roman clay walls, elegant chandelier, and extra long glossy table makes this room feel appropriate for a fancy feast. I also really love the art installation… hanging from the picture rails.

Living Space II

The second living space in the townhome is equally as pretty as the first. It’s filled with antiques, modern artwork, marble, custom upholstery, and plenty of optimal & inspiring styling moments.

I also screen grabbed the floral arrangements- all of which feel appropriate for the holiday season ahead, if you’re looking for ideas. Never underestimate the power of dried florals this time of year!

Media Room

The media room gave me the most inspiration, unsurprisingly. Since I’m working on my own basement renovation design plan, this space left me taking notes. From the u-shaped sectional to the oversized ottoman… this is my exact floor plan for the media viewing area. I also love the upholstered wall paneling, moody palette, and petite sconces.

The monochromatic kitchen area or wet bar also feels specifically on brand and reminiscent of my own project… graphic marble, painted cabinets, and collected glassware. It’s just a really lovely and functional looking space that got me excited.

Bedrooms

There were only two images of bedrooms within Albion Nord’s portfolio- both in green hues, and both simplistically beautiful.

Recreational Areas

Another room I’ve had on my mind lately… the home gym, and this one feels especially amazing! From the grid gallery wall to the modern fitness equipment, it’s an aspirational room. The wood tones are lovely.

FAQ

What is your favorite space in this tour?

The first living space… it has such a beautiful library feel. I could probably spend hours in that room reading- and I just think it’s very tastefully designed. Kudos to Albion Nord!

If you could choose one element from this home to put in your own, what would it be?

The chandelier from the red office… that thing is incredible! I’d probably put it in my own home office, so I could admire it on the daily.

Do you like all of the mixed marble fireplaces?

I do! Here’s how to choose a marble slab for your renovation, if you’re in the market for stone. Marble is a timeless material, in my opinion!

  1. Good morning! Wow. *fans self* Wow. This entire home feels luxe and sophisticated-from the plush velvet sofas and fluffy fringed drapes to the modern art and understated styling. Aspirational with a touch of cozy. I love the slightly unexpected iron and leather moments and the casual kilim-topped ottomans. The picture rail system is both gorgeous and genius; nobody wants to be putting nail holes in any of those fantastically textured walls! The moulding throughout is strictly bananas; is that some sort of full round pearl trim at the ceiling in the dining room and second living space?! The enveloping monochromatic media space screams movie marathon, but the marble plus roasted persimmon painted cabinets of the candy bar area has me completely entranced. The shot that took me all the way out though is the deep wine walls and zingy tomato lamp in the study. That incredible inset marble mantel? (BTW, very into the modern fireplace treatments.) Not to mention, the chandelier that I’d auction a kidney for. Glorious. Simply glorious. Lastly, I’d be remiss not to note the capacious daybed situation by the indoor pool. No sunshine? No problem. 🤣 What a fantastic way to kick off December, Sarah! Thank you for this wildly inspiring tour! We woke up to our first snow, and I’ll be boarding a wine-tasting, birthday celebration van later this afternoon. A fabulous Pizza Friday, indeed! Love seeing your Thai adventures! Cheers to all the fun, friends!💜

  2. Happy Dec 1st! Sound like you are having a wonderful vacay Sarah 🥂 This townhouse you featured today is gorgeous 💖 Every room is captivating and filled with beautiful things, it’s hard to pick a favorite but I think the media room with the bar has my heart on 🔥🔥🔥Wow! Just stunning, that velvet sectional with fringe, the wall colors, the marble on the bar, I mean talk about hot! I would never leave that space, so cozy and stimulating all at the same time.
I’m excited you mentioned dried florals, so lovely, I created a beautiful dried arrangement for my foyer for this holiday season and I must say I’m loving it 😍 I think they are making a comeback and I’m totally on board. Exciting!
I’ve got to run, my bestie is coming for lunch but I really enjoyed this home and will take a closer look once I have more time but love, love, love this post ❤️🥳🎄 Keep having fun Sarah! Sounds like a fab time 🏝 Xoxo

  3. Wowwww! What an inspirational home tour! From the opening image every space is a delight to the eye. Oversized art installations, modern and traditional furnishings, layers of textiles, and sculptural functional elements are all married well throughout. The fluted trim and nailhead detail is absolutely bananas; equally jaw dropping are the art pieces hanging from brass or iron rods. The tray ceilings offer architectural interest, and I’m smitten with the choice to hide the drapery hardware behind it. Graphic marble fireplace surrounds in every room? Sign me up! The movement seems to enhance the surroundings, and in the case of the media room, definitely enhances the color experience. Admittedly, the fireplace in the second living space reminds me of your fireplace in Ohio- or was it the first Utah house? Either way, that particular view feels extra inviting to me. I particularly enjoy the bedroom swathed in rich dark green; so dark it’s almost black. Everything about this townhome exudes warmth, style, high end design and old world charm, with a modern twist. Your dive explorations look lovely (and maybe slightly scary); may your trip continue to awe and inspire! Have a lovely first day of December, and thank you for the inspiration this morning!
