FAQ
I actually have a blog post that may be helpful: 10 Tips for Identifying Quality Furniture and of course I’d recommend reading the specs carefully (size, material, construction, etc). On Amazon especially, reviews can be a big help!
Of course! You can find everything here: Sarah’s Amazon Saves. I update and refresh it weekly, so there are always new items being added.
To wrap up, I just have a quick question for you… did you like this new format? It seemed like a good way for me to share quite a few favorites, while allowing me space to share my thoughts (unlike a typical collage without much copy). Let me know! While it’s a lot of scrolling, I hope shopping posts like this are helpful! Tell me what I should search for next.

Good morning! Wow! This really must have required hours of scrolling. I remain amazed at the items you unearth on Amazon. I would never have imagined brands like Hekman and Bassett would be featured there. Ordering furniture online can certainly be a little nerve-wracking, but the detailed specs, customer comments, and your recommendations are quite reassuring. A good reminder to leave an opinion to help others! (Not gonna lie, sometimes the reviews are entertainment gold!🤣) I can’t argue with any of your picks, but I’m especially digging the CB2 vibes of numbers 30, 40, and 43. Of course, who can resist a nero marble bistro table? I also really like the curvy casual look of those woven outdoor chairs. While somehow outside my usual style, that black arched cabinet keeps drawing my eye. I shouldn’t be surprised since you spied it first! Ha. I know shopping the jungle website can feel…problematic, but as a person without truck in a rural area, it’s a valuable resource. So thank you for the designer edit! As for the new format, I will always favor reading your observations over the convenience of collage grouping. Is one format preferable to you? I’ll read it regardless.😉 Now, let’s get some commotion for the bar sneak peek on IG!!! Squeal! You must have really worked your tails off this weekend! Can not wait! Also, dead over your new range. Absolutely deceased. Cheers to all the things on this February Wednesday! Have a lovely day, Sarah!💜
I had lots of time to kill. Ha! It turns out virtual shopping is a great way to stay awake and fight jet lag on a long haul flight. Some Amazon reviews are hilarious- you’re right about entertainment gold. I actually liked pulling this format together and enjoyed writing a quick blurb about each piece. I just wasn’t sure if the scrolling would be annoying. Hope you’ve had a wonderful weekend! We got a ton of snow here yesterday. The dogs are happy, but I’m ready for spring. Ha! xox
Beautiful finds, Sarah! Thank you so much for sharing—can’t help but love the convenience of Amazon sometimes. Just wanted to pipe in and say that I really enjoyed this blog format. It makes for a great experience on mobile (where I do most of my blog content-consuming), part of which being it’s much easier to see the product details on my small screen in this format. So, thank you for asking! Always love reading your content and highly value your opinions as a designer. xx
Thank you, Raime! It’s definitely a convenient way to shop. I really appreciate your feedback on the format. I wasn’t sure how it would be, but I’ll add some more of these type of posts to my rotation! Thank you for reading. I hope you’re having a lovely weekend :)
Wow! What a gorgeous roundup of beautiful furniture Sarah! I can’t believe manufacturers such as Butler and Hekman are available on Amazon. They are only available in higher end shops in Canada and are definitely not attainable through Amazon Canada. You are a wealth of information and I love so many pieces you have shown. I purchased #3 martini table a couple of weeks ago when shopping your Amazon storefront and it’s lovely. It’s great when entertaining and can be moved around easily. It’s also cute as an accent for a pretty flower arrangement display in a hallway, foyer or empty corner. Useful, beautiful and very budget friendly 😍 I may purchase another one to bring back to Burlington 🥰
I really like the roundup format too, greatly appreciated 👍 You must be getting both tired and excited to be getting close to the finish line on the foyer and basement. Renovations of your caliber take time, especially tackling so much of it yourselves. It’s going to feel so rewarding once you’ve finished. We are all cheering you on 🥳 Have a super awesome day and thanks for finding such fabulous Amazon furniture options, so very helpful 🥂
Thanks so much, Colleen! I was also surprised to see those designer pieces of Amazon. I absolutely love to hear that you snagged the martini table and like it… such a versatile piece! I think it would also be nice for a plant. Thanks for the feedback on the layout. I’ve definitely been tired lately (and feeling under the weather), but projects are starting to wrap up and hopefully spring is near! I think I’ve just been overdoing it with my work hours and travel. All good things to come though! As always, thanks for being a great and encouraging friend. I appreciate you! xox
I love this format! Good morning- and thank you for such a fantastic roundup. The allure of this format is that I get to read your quick thoughts about each item, without scrolling back to refer to the collage. I don’t mind the scrolling either way- but this format for this amount of items is perfectly suitable and a lovely perusal. There are so many finds contained here- and all classic, timeless aesthetics. I appreciate your design eye curating such a roundup. With Amazon particularly, it’s easy to be daunted by the sheer amount of digging it takes to find the treasure items. I saved quite a few of your finds- the dining tables you found are my favorites. Something about a unique base with a stretcher just appeals to my soul. I love the clean lines those tables have to offer. I’d love to see your choices for media room tv stands, round dining tables, or tall chests of drawers- all items I’m currently on the hunt for. Sadly, I find the aesthetics I love at the sacrifice of quality, or the quality I desire with too steep a price tag, and severely lacking in the aesthetics factor. I’ve resigned myself that I’ll likely have to hunt marketplace or the local spots for unique vintage. *Sigh*… a daunting fete. I can’t thank you enough for putting this together- what a stupendous start to Wednesday! Have a fantastic day Sarah!
I’m so glad to hear that, Lauren! Thank you for sharing the feedback. It’s more time consuming, but I think more fun. I’ll add some more of these to the rotation! Amazon definitely requires a LOT of digging because there are so many bad items. I think that makes finding the treasures more rewarding. The barstools I grabbed are super nice… very happy with that purchase! You know I’m all about FBMP. Hope you and the fam stayed warm this weekend amongst the storms. Did you get snow?
No snow yet, sadly. Perhaps this weekend. It’s frigid enough for a lovely sprinkling, but we’re still waiting. We do have an insane amount of fresh powder on the mountains weekly, and I’m all for Mother Nature healing our burn scars. Happy Thursday Sarah!
Wow Sarah, you really brought it with this post!! I’m amazed by your skill in digging out quality finds. I am often so overwhelmed by Amazon. Front of mind for me is finding furniture for our primary bedroom. Our bed is off center so I have been thinking a desk which doubles as a nightstand would work to fill up some extra space and create balance. Number 7 (Natural wood desk) would suit nicely, along with number 21 (Pillow top bench) at the foot of the bed. Number 16 (Linen swivel chair) would also make for a sweet reading corner with one of the many gorgeous side tables you listed … but which one should I pick?? They are all gorgeous.
I could see either one of the sofas along with that stunning Hekman coffee table in our more formal sitting space, and the Pillow top ottoman (10) would be comfy and “loungy” in our family room for the boys.
Oh! I also have a dead space in our eat-in kitchen / dining area. I have struggled to find the right thing because of some interesting light switch and vacuum outlet placement (eye roll). The rustic kitchen island console really caught my eye for that space.
Thank you Sarah, I can’t imagine the time it took for you to curate this post. Although I can imagine that long flight across the Pacific. We are New Zealanders living in Washington state. Those trans-Pacific flights are looooooong.
Thank you, Rhonda! I appreciate that. I actually love digging through the noise to find the hidden gems… it’s a little like antique shopping, ha. I also like your idea for your bedroom! So many pretty choices to choose from. The flights really are so long (especially from Washington). We usually fly in and out of LAX.
So many great furniture options Sarah. You have pulled together some really nice pieces & great price points! I too love the format and ease of clicking on the piece(s) that holds interest. I know you put a lot of work into this. Thank you.
Can’t wait to hear about your trip. As you know our daughter & new son-in-law are saving to go to Japan for a month for their honeymoon. I wish I could go to see it as well but that would be awkward…ha! Some day.
I successfully tiled and grouted the kitchen backsplash. Thankful my husband was there to cheer me on and bounce problems off of. I will say black grout is messy when you get it on walls or cabinets. Thankfully I have not painted either yet.
Have a wonderful Wednesday!
Thank you, Danna! I’m really glad you enjoyed this post, and thank you for letting me know about the formatting. I figured I’d try something new! Your daughter and son-in-law will have the best time in Japan. We really had a fantastic time, and the food was amazing. Lol to you awkwardly tagging along. HA! I’m thrilled to hear about the backsplash- I knew you could do it!! Black grout is definitely messy, but provides such a nice high contrast look. Great job!!
