My Favorite Fall 2018 One Room Challenge Spaces (+A Giveaway)

My Favorite Fall 2018 One Room Challenge Spaces - roomfortuesday.com I participated in the last two One Room Challenges…. remember my bathroom? How about the laundry room? This time I ran out of house to renovate (ha, but really), so I followed along and lived vicariously through my friends. I’ll start this post by saying, it’s TOUGH to renovate an entire room in such a short period of time. It’s stressful, you don’t get much sleep, but in the end it’s always worth it. I wanted to pat my pals on the back and share some of my favorites from both the featured and guest categories! Click through for my top 12 picks, lots of inspiration, and notable moments from the fall 2018 One Room Challenge.

In case you’re wondering what my two ORC spaces currently look like… check out my bathroom in the above image and the laundry room below. Not much has changed.

MY LATEST VIDEOS

My Favorite Fall 2018 One Room Challenge Spaces - roomfortuesday.com Back in the spring, I rounded up ten of my favorite ORC rooms. This time around, I’m back with 10 more that really grabbed my attention- 5 featured designers and 5 guest designers. Again, these are the ones that I thought were exceptional- but it’s all a matter of personal opinion. Check out all 200+ rooms here and decide for yourself. Let’s get to it, shall we?!

Erin’s Master Bedroom & Closet // featured designer

My Favorite Fall 2018 One Room Challenge Spaces - roomfortuesday.com

I hate to play favorites, but Erin’s space is my favorite… and not just because we’re friends. Girlfriend has some serious talent! I really appreciate her attention to detail.

My Favorite Fall 2018 One Room Challenge Spaces - roomfortuesday.com From the millwork to the hardware, light fixtures, paint colors, textiles, and every single styling moment, her master suite stole the show for me. That walk-in closet and bedroom are absolutely dreamy!

Dee’s Bedroom // featured designer

My Favorite Fall 2018 One Room Challenge Spaces - roomfortuesday.com Dee’s tiny extra bedroom is so impressive! I also had to share the view into the room as well…. because those arched built-ins are worth noting.

My Favorite Fall 2018 One Room Challenge Spaces - roomfortuesday.com In the bedroom, I was uber impressed with the bunk design, wallpapered ceiling, hardware, drapery, and that GREEN paint color. You guys know I love a good green palette. It reminds me of our old dining room.

William & Susan’s Bathroom // featured designer

My Favorite Fall 2018 One Room Challenge Spaces - roomfortuesday.com The Brinson’s really know how to renovate old homes better than any couple I’ve ever seen. How perfect is this bathroom?! They even made the toilet feel luxurious and beautiful- that’s a hard thing to accomplish.

My Favorite Fall 2018 One Room Challenge Spaces - roomfortuesday.com I’m basically speechless because every single element is perfect… the floor tile, vanity, plumbing fixtures, paint color, I could go on and on.

Candis & Andy’s “Big Girl” Room // featured designer

My Favorite Fall 2018 One Room Challenge Spaces - roomfortuesday.com

Again, designers killed it in the millwork department this time around. Candis and Andy beefed up the mouldings and weren’t afraid to go bold in their daughter’s room.

My Favorite Fall 2018 One Room Challenge Spaces - roomfortuesday.com I’m digging the modern meets vintage look- especially paired with the bright color palette for a kids room.

Dabito’s Guest House // featured designer

My Favorite Fall 2018 One Room Challenge Spaces - roomfortuesday.com Dabito renovated an ENTIRE GUEST HOUSE. Like, what?! He must have a death wish or something. Somehow he pulled it off… a kitchen, bath, living space, etc. The works!

My Favorite Fall 2018 One Room Challenge Spaces - roomfortuesday.com You just have to see it to believe it. Every single detail is perfectly colorful, playful, and sophisticated all at the same time.

Kristina’s Kitchen // guest designer

My Favorite Fall 2018 One Room Challenge Spaces - roomfortuesday.com I hadn’t heard of Kristina until this ORC and I’m so happy to have discovered her space. This lovely minimal, white kitchen gave my eye a break from all of the color this challenge.

My Favorite Fall 2018 One Room Challenge Spaces - roomfortuesday.com I could easily envision this space translating well to a scandinavian cabin in the mountains. It feels fresh and you already know I like natural wood cabinetry.

Emily’s Master Bedroom // guest designer

My Favorite Fall 2018 One Room Challenge Spaces - roomfortuesday.com

Emily is so great at styling! I love the way she perfectly accessorized her nightstand and fireplace in the master bedroom.

My Favorite Fall 2018 One Room Challenge Spaces - roomfortuesday.com I also appreciated the drapery. There were some rooms that looked amazing, but I just couldn’t include because the drapery felt off. This is an example of how to do GOOD window treatments. She totally rocked the pinch pleat and french rod, that I love so much.

Taylor’s Girls Room // guest designer

My Favorite Fall 2018 One Room Challenge Spaces - roomfortuesday.com It does not get any sweeter than Taylor’s girls room. It has the perfect blush, bohemian vibe that any little lady would be lucky to inhabit.

My Favorite Fall 2018 One Room Challenge Spaces - roomfortuesday.com I also appreciated her panel moulding, millwork, and window treatments.

Cathy’s Converted Garage Kitchen // guest designer

My Favorite Fall 2018 One Room Challenge Spaces - roomfortuesday.com My friend Cathy never ceases to amaze me! They converted a GARAGE into a KITCHEN. Yes- you read that right. I have to be honest… I wasn’t sure how it would turn out, but of course they nailed it. I never should’ve had a doubt!

My Favorite Fall 2018 One Room Challenge Spaces - roomfortuesday.com Somehow they covered this space into a cozy, moody kitchen that feels welcoming and gorgeous.

Susie’s Family Room // guest designer

My Favorite Fall 2018 One Room Challenge Spaces - roomfortuesday.com Susie’s family room surprised me. I absolutely love her choice in seating… the sofa and chairs are so super cool. I have to say, I’m not a fan of orangey paneling like this, but she actually made it work and pulled it off in a funky modern way!

My Favorite Fall 2018 One Room Challenge Spaces - roomfortuesday.com So that’s it! Which room was your favorite? Are there any you loved that I didn’t include? Spoiler alert… I’m hoping to participate in the One Room Challenge again this spring. We’ll see how it plays out!

I love the ORC and agree with your picks! Such beautiful colors this time…and some of the wallpapers! Sigh. I also really loved the bar in The English Room’s ORC, and she is definitely fearless with color! (also, she has a dog room!) Thanks for the giveaway; Laurie Anne does lovely work. Thanks for sharing this round-up, Taylor’s Girls’ Room design just lead me to a new rug for my family room! I had been hunting for a while, and this one is gorgeous. I also spent 3 minutes googling it, and while the link from the blog goes to Target ($1299), I snagged it from Overstock for $694. That’s a darn good Friday WIN-WIN!
