One Piece / Two Ways : Tulle Skirt

One Piece / Two Ways : Tulle Skirt

Today I am sharing my final look in our One Piece / Two Ways mini-series. I first fell in love with the black tulle shirt when I went to a holiday fashion show at Anthropologie a few years ago. As much as I loved their version of the skirt, the (almost) $200 price tag was out of my price range. I began searching high and low for a budget-friendly option. Luckily, I found another option at a fraction of the Anthropologie price!

Look one: You really can’t beat a classic black and white striped tee… it is one piece that will never go out of style. I love this JCrew version because it can be worn year round with almost anything. Pair it with a black handbag, heels, and a statement necklace. Depending on the weather or where you live, you could also add black tights to this look.

Look two: For my second look, I chose a boho-inspired combination…a favorite of mine. When it comes to boho pieces, I try to add one or two pieces without over-doing it (in this case the bag and a cropped sweater). The cognac bag and booties play perfectly off of each other, creating a nice balanced outfit.

I’m all over the second look, love the cognac leather accents and the pretty lace detail on the shirt, I would pair those pieces with some jeans too!

Oh, I love them both so much! I totally agree though, stripes will always be the top of my list.

Non-puffy tulle skirts are the most versatile ones. They are perfect for every day wear like in your stylings. Check out more tulle styles at :)
