One Piece / Two Ways : Winter Sweater

One Piece / Two Ways : Winter Sweater

If there’s one thing I can never get enough of during winter- it’s sweaters. I basically live in them four months out of the year. With that being said, I am always on the hunt for sweaters that combine comfort, warmth and style. This graphic crew-neck sweater was given to me as a gift this Christmas and I have already gotten much use out of it. Bonus…it’s currently on sale!

Look one: Both of these looks are pretty similar. However, look one is a tad bit more dressy, paired with leather pants. The boots in this look have been one of my favorites since fall – they are super affordable (under $50) and I get compliments every time I wear them. Goes to show that style does not always have to come with a hefty price tag! Unfortunately, they are currently sold out, but I have found a similar, budget-friendly option. Although I originally purchased this suede cross-body bag for summer outfits, it also works well in the winter. Can you tell I have a thing for fringe?

Look two: I like to call this look “causal Friday” because it’s perfect for a casual day at the office, or meeting up with friends for dinner after work. This time, it’s styled with my new favorite pair of jeans (back to price tags…I have learned that a good pair of jeans is totally worth the investment), and similar cognac boots. I was able to find this pair of jeans slightly discounted at Nordstrom Rack.

If you have missed the first two style posts in our One Piece / Two Ways series, you can see them here (chambray) and here (sweatshirt dress). Has anyone tried mixing up items in their closets in fun, new ways? What is your favorite look this week…one or two?
