My Art Options for the One Room Challenge (+ What I Ordered)
Although I’m having a fantastic time on vacation, part of me feels guilty for packing up and leaving amongst a crazy busy One Room Challenge renovation with a very tight timeline (although we’ve had this planned for a year). While we’re away, obviously nothing is happening in the formal living room, but packages have been showing up on the daily. Luckily, the friends staying at our house have been sending plenty of unboxing updates for me so I can continue to keep inventory from afar. This week a bunch of art arrived from Minted (they’re an official One Room Challenge sponsor), and I thought it might be fun to show you my options and eventually what I landed on for the space? If anyone is in the market for art, maybe this will help! Click through to see my favorites for our living room…
*FYI- since Minted is an ORC sponsor, the art was gifted, but this post is NOT sponsored.
Basically, I scoured the Minted website for fine art that would work with my design plan and color palette, then saved everything that was applicable. That’s what this roundup is composed of… everything I saved.
Shop my art finds by clicking directly on each item below, or use the numbered links at the bottom of the collage.
01: as you are // 02: squiggles // 03: drip // 04: young fig // 05: sierra sky // 06: still life with chrysanthemums // 07: after the bath // 08: night clouds // 09: reaching sky // 10: mountain shadows // 11: terrazzo // 12: spring melt // 13: missouri // 14: a kiss upon // 15: last tuesday
Do you see where I’m going with this? I founds lots of beautiful work and it was really difficult to narrow it down. Ultimately, I landed on #2, #3, #6, and #7. I’ll also be mixing in some of my own artwork, photography, as well as some vintage pieces- because you guys know I like to do that!
The above piece was the art that inspired the entire palette for the space. It arrived a little less saturated than expected, but I think I honestly like that better! What are you favorites from my list?
