This week’s forecast has me ready for long summer days and warm nights on my patio. If there’s one thing I love to do when the temperatures start to rise, it’s giving my home a little refresh for the changing of seasons. Spring and summer are great times to stock away your darker, heavier home decor items and replace them with light linens and lots of natural materials. As a long time lover of classic rattan, I’m excited to see it popping up everywhere this year! Each spring and summer I try to add a few new items to my interior and outdoor space to keep everything feeling fresh and fun. I’ve linked some of my favorite home decor finds for spring and summer below!
01: indigo stripe woven pillow // 02: kvist planter // 03: ombre ball floor lamp // 04: small wooden tray // 05: beige fringed linen blanket // 06: nuria hanging flower pot // 07: round metal mirror // 08: grey transparent glass vase with cork detail // 09: texture finish porcelain bowl // 10: carrillo napkins // 11: large candle lantern // 12: linen cushion cover // 13: tapered candles // 14: braided placemats // 15: small glass vase // 16: tablecloth with fringe // 17: silas marble brass picture frame // 18: paper napkins // 19: cocktails matches // 20: carmen pineapple ice bucket
I’m channeling inspiration from Tom Scheerer’s insanely gorgeous Bahama beach house. Think light linens, bright and neutral materials, and loads of texture (natural wood, rattan, bamboo, fresh greenery, and all things woven).
Will any of you be making changes to your home for spring and summer? I would love to know some of your ideas and favorite items from the roundup! For more summer posts click here and here.
