If there is one thing I feel like we always need more of in our house, it’s storage. Whether you live in a small space or larger home, you can never have too much of it. One of my favorite ways to store odds and ends in our home is with woven baskets. Baskets add texture and dimension to any space and help you hide items that can easily become eyesores in the prettiest spots in your home. Etsy is one of my favorite resources for unique, vintage baskets ranging from seagrass baskets to african baskets and moroccan baskets. Continue reading to see some of my favorite finds!

Whether you are styling a bookshelf or storing larger items under a console table or next to a fireplace, woven baskets come in all shapes, sizes and styles for your needs. Baskets and woven trays are perfect for organizing coffee tables, while lidded baskets are great for storing smaller items out of sight and larger woven baskets are useful for storing blankets and pillows when not in use. I even like using the larger baskets as laundry hampers (much more appealing than the plastic ones from Target) and you can leave them sitting out in your room without taking away from the aesthetic. Win win!
I have to admit…I may be adding a few of these to my cart this week. What are some of the ways you guys organize items in your home? I would love to hear other ideas for using woven baskets as well! If you guys missed our last Best of Etsy post on vintage nightstands, don’t forget to check it out!
