  1. Oooh, those are all good pics. I struggle with buying lighting online because you can’t tell how much light they give off, and if they will work in the room you need them to or not. And if you are having an electrician install them like us a trial and error process could become very pricey! Needless to say, we still haven’t changed out any lights yet even though we reeeeally need to.

    1. Thanks Brittany! I find you just have to read the specs carefully… that should tell you how much light they’ll put off :) I’ve purchased every single light fixture for our past 3 homes online. Haha!

  2. Well, there goes another hour looking at vintage lighting on Etsy! I actually have purchased a handmade fixture from a seller and love it! But the vintage Sciorlari and Murano items are the ones that make me drool. There’s not a clinker in the bunch, but I especially love #2, #12 and #25. Happy Monday!

    1. Haha, right?! Happy Monday :) Hope you had a fun and relaxing weekend, Peggi!

  3. I bought number 15 for our kitchen and it actually just arrived today! I can’t wait to hang it!

    1. Really?! I love that one :) Good luck with the installation.

  4. I’m refreshing our (pretty dark) master bathroom, and I’m struggling to figure out what kind of lighting I need for the spot above the mirrors. Right now there is a cheesy, dated three-light sconce (and a flush mount over the toilet.). I wonder: will a single or double sconce with a pretty shade be enough light? Is there a difference in lighting if it’s pointed up or down? (I could probably choose mirrors to fit the sconces pointing in either direction.) A bar sconce would probably give better, even light over the mirror but the look is not my favorite. Etc.!

    1. I’d recommend mixing different types of lights… recessed can lights, the sconce, the flush mount, etc. A skylight could be another solution! Hope this helps, Tracy!
