A Peek at Our Tuesday Made Spring Collection

A Peek at Our Tuesday Made Spring Collection - roomfortuesday.comNow that I’ve had a strong dose of Arizona sunshine, I’m very much looking forward to spring and the activities that come along with it. From planting in our garden and making seasonal swaps inside to cooking & baking springtime favorites, I’m definitely in the mood for sun soaked days, warmer temperatures, and I’m looking forward to the beauty of watching things bloom. While we were buried in snow this winter, I was busy daydreaming, planing, and curating our spring collection for the Tuesday Made shop. I thought it would be fun to give you a sneak peek at some of my favorite things and share the story behind them. Click through for a glimpse at what we’ve been working on over at the shop, and of course for some spring home inspiration!

A Peek at Our Tuesday Made Spring Collection - roomfortuesday.comFrom new design books, candles (with the prettiest vessels to reuse once they’ve burned!), and handmade items from newly discovered creatives, I had the best time choosing decor for spring. Some of my favorites come from a women-owned shop that makes handwoven coasters, and harvest sustainable goods from the ocean (like sea sponges for the bath). They are scuba divers off the coast and of course that piqued my interest! I think that’s my favorite part about having the shop… connecting with other creatives and small business owners who are clearly passionate about their work.

We just added some really beautiful vintage items, but if you’re wondering what’s next… we’ve got a BIG art launch coming soon. We’ll be adding 50+ pieces that I’m really excited about. I’ve spent the last few months curating. In addition to art, we’ll also be adding some new light fixtures to our collection in the coming days. And of course, the one everyone always asks about: vintage rugs… we’ve got more on the way!

A Peek at Our Tuesday Made Spring Collection - roomfortuesday.comFlorals, both fresh and (highly convincing) faux, are another thing I’ve slowly been sprinkling through our home for the season ahead. It’s amazing what a touch of texture, greenery, and sculptural life can do for a room. All of our faux florals are handmade by florists here in the US… each branch, leaf, stem, and petal are hand placed- which I think makes them the most convincing. I’ve met some of our artists and have watched them work- they are incredibly talented! If faux isn’t your jam, we also have a bunch of charming planters & vases for spring.

A Peek at Our Tuesday Made Spring Collection - roomfortuesday.comSomething I’m looking forward to doing more of this spring? Hosting! I’m volunteering for patio hangouts, dinner parties, and casual pizza making Fridays with friends. Having been cooped up this winter, I’m ready for gathering- especially outside. Anyone else? I tried to source some great hosting and tablescape essentials for the shop for these occasions.

A Peek at Our Tuesday Made Spring Collection - roomfortuesday.comOur kitchen section is fully stocked with classic favorites, and we just added a bunch of new items- including seasonal cookbooks (pizza inspiration and grilling recipes, anyone?). Our book collection is quickly becoming my favorite! We have shelving in the shop and I often find myself parked in our little library room, turning pages during my lunch break.

A Peek at Our Tuesday Made Spring Collection - roomfortuesday.comAs always, I’ll sign off with a little thank you. Thanks for shopping small with us! I can’t begin to tell you how much it means. When you place an order, you are not only supporting my small business, but many other creatives, artists, and women-owned businesses. That’s important and I hope it makes you feel good about the things you bring into your home. I was just chatting with Laurie Anne (my bestie who is an artist we carry in the shop) about this and she pushed me to talk more about this topic. I probably don’t share that aspect enough. Anyway… sending a heartfelt thank you and a big hug to all of you! If you know any makers, artists, or creatives we should carry- always send them my way. PS… I’m working on a fun Tuesday Made office tour for you (per usual- I’m waiting on art to photograph, ha).

  1. Good morning! What a welcome glimpse of spring! (Even if it’s 38 and drizzly outside…) I’ve said it before, but I can barely keep up with all of the new and wonderful stock you bring to the shop! (naturally, I subscribe to your email!) These posts are so helpful, and who can resist a dose of pretty? I’d be hard-pressed to choose favorites, but you know I’m partial to all of the hosting items! The serving bowls are stunning! The pair of vintage fish bowls is bonkers; I hadn’t realized how large they are! Of course, the gilded shell serving set is adorbs and would compliment both my gold and silver flatware. I’ve also been smitten by the ribbed, lidded candle since I first saw it. I love that it’s earthy but not crunchy-and the rawhide loop! Oh, and the shape of the woven wicker cloche? Divine. I will admit that I’m a little peeved about one thing. Food, flowers, and fantasy was going to be the title of MY memoir. Sheesh. On a serious note, I absolutely welcome the reminder about the female-owned and small shops with whom you do business. That truly makes a difference to me. So, thank you! Here’s wishing you a smooth post-trip week. Also, how is April this weekend?!🤯💜

    1. Hi Peggi! We’re getting MORE snow over here. Spring- where are you?! I’m ready for sunny warm days. They feel far away today though… 5 more inches and counting. I found those vintage fish bowls while out thrifting and almost kept them for myself- they’re such a great size! The Food, Flowers, and Fantasy book is my new favorite!! Ha, definitely a good memoir title. Finding small businesses owners, women owned businesses, businesses owned by POC, and just connecting with talented sweet creatives is my favorite thing about having a shop. It has been really fulfilling and fun to collaborate. It makes a difference to me, too! I can’t believe we’re headed into April (which is shaping up to be a WILD month for us). Ready or not, here we go! I hope you’re having an amazing day! xo

  2. I’ll take any dose of spring I can get- we have another storm blowing in on this cold and dreary Wednesday. You know what’s not cold or dreary? The selections in the shop! Wowza! I’m in love with the vintage blue and white bowl set and have been since I first saw them on the new arrivals- they remind me of a set of vintage blue and white condiment saucers I found in Solvang on last summer’s trip. The kitchen selection is on fire right now and I can hardly contain myself over the floral napkin set and the sweet half apron- plus all the new books.🤯 Library indeed! I’m equally astounded by the breadth of lighting options- you have significantly increased the selection and they’re all so lovely. The shop is my favorite place to peruse and order from- I only wish I could order more than I do. Regardless, I appreciate the attention to detail and care you take in curating the items here, and I further appreciate that I’m supporting other small businesses (women owned at that!) when I do shop. I hope you’re able to ease into the week after your travels, and I equally hope sunshine is gracing your windows at the moment. I’m ready for spring finally…now if only California could get the memo, ha! Cheers to hump day friends, let’s make it magical!

    1. Me too, Lauren! We came home to snow and it’s snowing again today. Utah is also not getting the memo. I’m fully ready for spring (as you can probably tell by the type of blog posts I’ve been sharing, ha)! Thanks so much for your kind words about the shop… that really is my happy place. It brings me so much joy to work with other creatives and share their talents. I hope you’re having a good week!! xo

  3. What a beautiful collection of spring things Sarah! While it’s more like summer in Florida I’m so looking forward in all the delight of spring upon our return. There is certainly no shortage of gorgeous new objects and items at your shop. It must be so fun opening a shipment to curate and style. I certainly welcome a peek into where all the Tuesday Made action happens, the prettiest of places to work I’m sure ☺️
The easel picture frame is stunning, will you be receiving stock on that item soon? The frame I have Laurie Anne’s artwork in doesn’t do it justice but I think the easel frame would be perfect.
I hope you had a wonderful time in Arizona with your family and Emmett had an incredibly fun b-day 🥳 I love celebrating that special day while on vacation, makes it extra memorable.
    Have a super fabulous day!

    1. Thank you, Colleen! We came home from Arizona to 8″ of snow and it’s snowing again today. I’m envious of your Florida summer sunshine! We just finished hanging artwork in our office yesterday, and I’m looking forward to photographing everything for a tour this weekend. We have more easels on the way- they should be here in 3 weeks (at most). We had such a fun time celebrating Emmett’s birthday. Trips always go too fast! I hope you’re having a wonderful week :) xo

  4. Love your shop! Enjoyed reading about the artists, craftsman, and stories behind the items you have in your shop. There are very talented people in this world. I am in love with the sienna bowl you shared. You have a great selection of cookbooks. I have tried recipes and bought books based on your recommendations. You are the best! Appreciate all the time and effort you put into your shop.
Hope bright sunny days are coming your way soon. I finally got to plant all the vegetables and herbs. Crossing fingers I can make them grow and survive! Looks like you had a great trip! Enjoy your day.

    1. Thank you so much, Danna! There really are some incredibly talented people in this world. We came home on Tuesday to 8 more inches of snow and it’s currently snowing today! I’m so envious you were able to plant your vegetables and herbs. It’s looking like it’s going to be a late gardening season for me. I hope you’re having a great week! I know I still owe you an email- I’m still playing catch up over here :) xox

  5. Okay I want everything! Your things are so beautiful! I was wondering if you knew the paint color of the cabinets in the dark kitchen. If so, would you be willing to share it? I am so glad that I stumbled upon this page!
