Trend Alert : Ceramics & Stoneware
It’s been a bit since I’ve shared a Trend Alert post and there has been one specific material on my mind lately- I’ve been noticing it everywhere. I’m far from tired of ceramic & stoneware pieces, and am predicting we’ll see more of this classic material in the design sphere for years to come. What’s not to like about modern, handmade, organic looking, artisanal pieces? It’s a very versatile material that styles nicely into so many different settings. Click through for an awesome roundup and inspiration for implementing more ceramic and stoneware into your home!
The most obvious place to insert ceramics is in your kitchen. Bonus points if you have floating shelves to display your treasures! They also look great styled behind glass cabinetry, placed neatly on the countertop, or grouped in a cluster on the dining table or breakfast nook.

If you’re not interested in adding personality to your kitchen, these pieces can live pretty much anywhere else in your home. The entryway… I have #13 from the roundup on my credenza, and it’s typically filled with greenery or flowers (shown below).
These objects also make great accessories for styling in general… shelf styling, coffee table arrangements, nightstand styling, balancing a console table, etc. Basically, they fit anywhere and everywhere while adding a pop of personality!
Are you guys also feeling the stoneware and ceramic trend? Have you been noticing it too? If not, I’m sure you’ll start to pick up on it now. It’s safe to say I’m a big fan, and always have been!
