For better or worse, I spend a lot of time on social media for work, and I figured it was about time to share some fresh inspiration! You already know Pinterest is my favorite outlet, but Instagram is certainly a close second. Since I’m traveling this week and didn’t have a ton of time for an elaborate post, I figured a short & sweet number spreading the love would be a perfect fit. Click through for 10 of my favorite design-related Instagram accounts right now… many of which, I hope you haven’t heard of.
I think the easiest way to share my recent go-to Insta profiles is probably in a list format. Check them out below (in no specific order), click around, and hopefully you’ll make some new friends & discoveries. I’m certainly inspired by each of these- all in unique ways.
#1 // kaemingk design
I love the minimal, rustic, and textural qualities found here! There are so many beautiful, neutral spaces that feel inviting. It’s all about material and Kaemingk plays with them so well.
#2 // jean stoffer
Basically, Jean Stoffer can do no wrong. Have you seen the complete tour of her Fair Oaks home? It is insanely gorgeous… I mean, look at that kitchen!
#3 // mowery marsh architects
This architectural firm is uber talented. Their spaces just feel calming and I’m constantly grabbing inspiration from their account.
#4 // brian paquette
I love the way Brian balances feminine and masculine decor and furniture. His work feels very current!
#5 // tom house
Tom makes me want to buy a mountain cabin or beach cottage realllllly bad. I mean, the design style is serious goals and I pin the daylights out of this Instagram account.
#6 // m. elle design
This account is inspiration overload… I’m still trying to figure out why they don’t have a million followers. There is variety, creativity, and unique content. What’s not to love?
#7 // alyssa kapito
I’ll forever be a fan of NYC-based designer Alyssa Kapito. Her work speaks for itself. I’m guessing you already know about her, but if not- this account is a must-follow.
#8 // heidi caillier
Heidi is new on my radar and I’m so happy I found her! I envy the way she uses color and it’s super refreshing to see bold, statement making rooms.
#9 // park and oak
Renee & Christina certainly know what they’re doing. They’re another fan favorite that you most likely already know about, but they’re still a go-to account for me… so many inspiring spaces!
#10 // alice lane home
Lastly, Alice Lane is a local favorite of mine. Their home base is here in Salt Lake City and they have an incredibly talented team of designers who produce beautiful work. If you’re not already following them, I promise it’s worth it.
I’d love to keep the conversation and collaborative environment going… do you guys have any favorite interior accounts I should be following or check out? I like to switch things up periodically and I’d love to hear some that you find inspiring or refreshing. Regardless, I can’t thank you enough for following along on mine and Emmett’s Instagram / renovation journey via Room for Tuesday. We’re just small potatoes, but it feels like a special place to us. We’re lucky to have the extra encouragement, and friends along for the ride!

April 10, 2019 at 6:41 amI follow most of these accounts and, the ones that I don’t, I have in the past (sometimes I just need to simplify my feed). Jean Stoffer has been one of my favorites, even before she became popular! I especially like that she is local. :)

April 10, 2019 at 6:51 amI forgot to mention… In terms of finding new inspiration on Instagram, I look at accounts that my favorite accounts follow. I usually find a few new-to-me accounts to follow (either on Instagram or Pinterest).
