10 Pins : Pinterest Inspiration

It’s time for one of my very favorite blog series… 10 Pins!! This marks my fifth month sharing Pinterest inspiration that feels most inspiring to me. Click through to see what I dug up and why I liked each image. Spoiler alert- there was a LOT of great interior design images floating around in the past month. I probably could’ve turned this into “20 Pins”, but I’ll save you some time and narrow it down.Â
#1 // Modern Meets Traditional Fireplace Vignette

First up, this beautiful modern meets traditional fireplace vignette. There are so many timeless design elements packed into this one- the floor tile, the millwork, the brass fireplace surround, and the plaster walls. For every traditional item, there is a contrasting modern element: the lighting, the unique take on herringbone hardwood floors, and the velvet sofa shape. It’s really a beautiful balance!
#2 // Bright and Airy Bedroom

This bright bedroom felt right to kick off the new year. It feels so clean, fresh, comforting, and soft. I love the shiplap ceiling, the whitewashed beams, and the sheer drapery panels that hang from the canopy bed.
#3 // Lodge Bath

If I were to have a mountain cabin, this is the vibe I think I’d want! Color, texture, pattern, and lots of antiques & art sprinkled throughout. This look could certainly be achieved on a budget, but you’d never know it.
#4 // Monochromatic Gray Living Room

This gray living room is anything but boring. Check out the crown moulding and ceiling millwork… WOW! I’m also swooning over the marble fireplace and super wide floor planks. I love that the designer used modern furniture to offset some of the rustic elements. The houndstooth slipper chair feels so right in this room.
#5 // Chic Hotel

Now this is a chic hotel I’d want to stay at! Please sign me up for a room- although, I may never return home. There are so many things to love: the panel moulding, the color of the area rug, the dramatic drapery, the modern chandelier, the console table, the floor mirror… I could go on and on. Can we also talk about the wall color? This is exactly what I had envisioned when I added “Hazelwood” to my 2020 paint color predictions. Perfection!
#6 // Modern Dining Room

This beautiful modern dining room uses natural materials (soapstone, wood, and leather) in the most perfect way. The architecture in this room also has me smitten. The mother daughter Stoffer team can do no wrong! Jean & Grace…. you two are design geniuses.
#7 // Bright Built-In Bathroom

I stumbled across Elizabeth’s portfolio last week and there is no turning back. I probably spent an hour on her website in complete awe! I love this bright bathroom that feels very “built-in”. From the custom vanity shape, to the built-in shelving and recessed mirrors, there are so many tiny details in here that work perfectly together… and I’m a details person.
#8 // Mod Living Room

This modern French living room isn’t my normal cup of tea, but I’ll tell you why I like it… the pinstriped chairs (I WANT THEM SO BAD!!), the crown moulding and wainscoting, and the modern lamp. It’s a weird room in the best way. Did you see the statues on the shelf? Weird, but cool? I can’t decide. It made me look twice, so that’s something.
#9 // Serene Soaking Tub

When it comes time to renovate our master bathroom, this is the bathtub shape I want. It’s curvy, feminine, and I could only dream of soaking in this serene tub. I’m digging the black framed windows, the elegant drapery, and the fact that there is enough space for a cute little chair in this beautiful bathroom. Goals!
#10 // Modern Natural Wood Closet

Last but not least, this closet by Kathy Ireland is insanely stunning! I love the tri-fold mirror, the natural wood built-ins for a crazy shoe collection, the bulky hardware, and the modern leather ottoman that centers the space. It’s a room that plays with a variety of shapes (oh hey, round pendant light!) in such a fun way.
That’s it for this month! Tell me your favorites in the comment section below. I really enjoy putting these posts together. Sharing inspiration has quickly become one of my new favorite blog hobbies. I hope you’re still liking them. Until next month…
