Sometimes I forget to shop on Etsy. It sounds crazy to forget a great resource, but it’s not always my first instinct or go-to website. Each time I rediscover amazing things there, I try to make a mental reminder to check back more frequently. Plus, I love supporting small business owners, who appreciate making things by hand. So in my absence of shopping Etsy, I was compelled to create a huge roundup.
I’ve done all the work for you and pulled together my favorite things floating around Etsy, of all different prices, new, handmade, vintage, … anything and everything. And it’s good. Really good. So get ready, here comes a gigantic post on the best Etsy items. First up, fun bar finds:
Etsy is kind of the obvious place to source art, and it never really disappoints. I personally like searching for vintage portraits, figure drawings, and oil paintings, but it’s also great for new productions and even sculptural wall art. I love the new geometric take on a wall hanging, rather than using fiber or textiles… it feels fresh and updated.
You wouldn’t necessarily think to look for furniture on Etsy, or maybe that’s just me? I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised with the outcome! There were so many good options, of every style. Feast your eyes upon this awesome roundup:
01. danish dresser // 02. lucite coffee table // 03. white and brass credenza // 04. modern brass etagere // 05. mid century swivel chairs // 06. black lacquer console // 07. mid century walnut dresser // 08. live edge coffee table // 09. rattan swivel chair // 10. campaign nightstand // 11. hollywood regency dresser // 12. mid century swivel dining chair set
I’m always a sucker for pillows… any type, really. Throw pillows, floor pillows, bed pillows- I basically just like the cozy vibe they give (especially in the winter). Check out the one in the #2 spot below; look familiar? That’s a Kelly Wearstler fabric. Genius! This is another KW pillow I’m liking lately.
01. aztec embroidered cushion // 02. kelley wearstler pillow cover // 03. ikat stripe pillow // 04. african mudcloth pillow // 05. kilim moroccan floor cushion pouf // 06. duma spots pillow cover // 07. patterned floor cushion
At some point during my Etsy search, I ended up down a rabbit hole; it started as “home goods” and turned into “odds & ends” because I can’t resist a sarcastic graphic tee or coffee mug. The item that stole the show? That fire pit. How did I not know this beauty existed?!
Sometimes, after restoring a piece of furniture, the hardest part is finding the perfect hardware; I was surprised to find lots of fantastic options. This is a tricky category to collage. It’s definitely worth clicking through to see how these pieces are applied and actually used… they totally look better installed!
Much like pillows, I can never really have too many containers. Whether they’re for storage, styling, or laundry, I’m always attracted to baskets, bowls, and bins.
01. lidded african basket // 02. swiss cross basket // 03. vintage lucite waste basket // 04. gold dish // 05. linen baskets // 06. indigo storage bin // 07. extra large striped laundry hamper // 08. seagrass storage basket
Last but not least, one of my favorite categories: lighting. Most of the fixtures on Etsy have an industrial look to them, since they’re handmade, but every once in awhile you can snag a great vintage piece.
What are your favorite Etsy finds; anything amazing I should add to this roundup?
