SARAH GIBSON // Founder & Creative Director
Welcome! I’m Sarah- the creator of Room for Tuesday and founder of Tuesday Made. I was born and raised in Kentuckiana and am currently living and working in Salt Lake City, Utah. I’m a designer, art lover, and all around creative. In early 2014, I yearned for a carefree creative outlet while working in a corporate design environment and Room for Tuesday was born. I’ve been loving every minute of making new friends, sharing inspiration, and dreaming big over here in my corner of the internet since starting this blog.
My husband Emmett and I are currently renovating our second home in Salt Lake City. I’m pretty sure we’ll be renovating until the end of time- at this point, we’re pretty much addicted. These days, you can find me tackling client design projects and in my spare time, I enjoy spending time outdoors (Utah is insane!!), seeking adventure, traveling, snuggling dogs, and thrift shopping.
I’ve been featured in Elle Décor, Domino Magazine, and HGTV Magazine, to name a few… but if you’re interested in press, see the full list here.
Other faces / names you might see around here? Allow me to introduce my husband…
EMMETT GIBSON // The DIY Guy & All Around Handyman
He’s the muscle behind every single one of our projects and renovations. I dream up these crazy plans and he makes them happen. I’m pretty sure he can build any and everything, and I have no idea how! Although he wishes he could build cool stuff and renovate on the daily, he has a full-time job doing accounting.
In his spare time he enjoys kayaking, hiking, and skiing. He always has a project happening! You’ll see his posts from time-to-time on the blog, but he doesn’t love writing or drafting content, so I typically shoot, edit, and write for him.
JACQUELINE BROWN // Contributor & Editor
Jacqueline is one of my very best friends from Ohio (I lived here way back when). You’ll see her posts on Room for Tuesday fairly frequently. We became fast friends and bonded over our love for design. She is also renovating her home alongside her husband, Dan, and often shares interior projects, aside from her day job as an elementary school teacher.
If you see a fashion post, odds are- it’s curated by Jacqueline. She’s the fashion guru around here and has a great eye for style! I’m excited to see the new content she’ll bring to the blog as a new mom.
