Striped Espadrille Sandals : Two Ways

striped espadrilles

Confession: I may or may not have purchased these striped espadrille sandals with a trip to Europe in mind. I quickly imagined these shoes being worn for a daytime stroll through Paris, or on a scenic boat ride along the Italian coast. Since I am not going to be checking either of those trips off my checklist right now, I decided to style them two different ways to be worn here at home…with classic, everyday pieces.

I love the lace-up straps on these sandals and a dress was the perfect way to show that off! I always make sure to carry a jacket during the springs months for unpredictable weather. A cognac leather tote can easily carry all your essentials when traveling (or when taking a trip to the market close to home).

I recently discovered these jeans at Nordstrom Rack and I have been living in them all spring. This is an ideal everyday look…perfect for weekend wear! For warmer weather I would switch the pants for a pair of white denim shorts, while tucking in the front of the blouse.

Do you guys remember this French girl fashion post? Seriously feeling inspired when it comes to fashion lately – now excuse me while I continue daydreaming. Shop the look below!
