Happy Friday, friends! Somehow I let eight months slip by before remembering to share and highlight another cool small business. I actually love this series and think it’s super important to support the smaller shops and tiny teams of passionate people in the design industry, as well as in our local communities. Falling into that category myself (a small business owner), believe me when I say- every win is celebrated… no matter how small. From social media likes to orders placed and reviews submitted, they’re all appreciated. Today I wanted to share a company I’ve been following for awhile now, Weezie Towels. Founded by two best friends, Liz & Lindsey, this women-owned towel & bath linen company has quite an excellent reputation. They make luxe bath linens with personality and their customization options are endless… you know I love and appreciate a well-designed monogram! They take the guesswork out of it, producing hotel style towels & robes. Click through for a fun small business highlight, to see some of my top picks, and to get some fresh summer inspiration for your bathroom. I’ve included some inspiration images from a handful of my talented designer friends!

Some things I love about Weezie? They work with a third generation family-owned factory in Portugal to create their luxe terry products… all from 100% organic cotton. That means their towels are soft, lofty, and also absorbent.

Weezie also has an in-house design & embroidery team based in Atlanta, who adds all of those pretty monograms to each order. I just placed my first order for our guest bath! I thought some towels with a monogrammed G would look perfect in that space… for Guest or Gibson, however our friends & family would like to interpret that. Ha!

Rather than compiling a big roundup filled with digitized versions of my monogram, I figured it would be easiest to show you some of their plain products, for visualizing your own. They offer lots of colors, typefaces, and monogram styles-everything is completely customizable… this is just the base that you start with. It’s actually a pretty fun DIY design process with awesome visuals. Feel free to take a gander and scroll through the slider, if you’re interested to see what’s available:

I know monograms aren’t for everyone, but I love the personalization they add to a space… it’s probably the type designer in me, spending all of those hours in the letterpress studio pushing letters around. It feels like a sophisticated and non-cheesy way to integrate typography into your home without dated “signage”.

These are also a lovely way to add a tiny splash of color and interest to a bath. The piped edge detail is my favorite! That’s a nice touch. Also- let’s hear it for all the beautiful bathrooms throughout this post. Wowza!! They’re making me want to renovate our primary bath already, but I have a feeling that’s going to be costly and we need to save up.

Thanks for reading my latest Small Business Spotlight post! I forgot how much I missed highlighting unique businesses. I hope you enjoyed this one and discovered a new resource to keep in your back pocket, should you ever be on the hunt for customized bath linens. I’ll share a photo of mine once they’re styled and looking nice in our guest bath. Is there a small home decor or interior business you love? How about an artist, maker, or designer? Please let me know in the comment section so I can add them to my list. I would love to be able to show my support for small business owners here on the blog, and continue to spread the small business love!

I hope everyone has a lovely weekend ahead. We’re taking the camper out for its maiden voyage before we get to work on it! We want to see how everything functions and get the dogs acclimated. I also wanted to say thank you for sharing in my excitement for that project! I know it’s not our typical interior renovation, but I think it’s going to be really fun. Anyway, you put a smile on my face with all of your sweet and encouraging comments! Cheers to pizza, patio weather, and weekend adventures ahead. I hope you have a good one!

  1. Good morning! What’s not to love about beautiful fresh new towels?! I adore the ribbon trim. I’m also a fan of monograms; I especially like finding vintage linen towels with an appropriate letter. We don’t share an initial in our house, but I’m into your “G” for guest! And I die for a fluffy terry robe, but truth be told, the past two years I’ve just downgraded to…sweats. Womp, womp. Not exactly an elevated morning routine. Ha. Thanks for spotlighting this lovely women-owned business! And wowzza to all these stunning bathrooms! I know you’ve got other items on your agenda for now, but I eagerly anticipate your main bathroom renovation! It’s sure to be a showstopper. Meanwhile, happy camper-ing this weekend! I hope the Gibson gang enjoys a new adventure! I can’t wait to see/hear how the boys like their new accommodations. 😂 I’m just looking forward to a little sun; yesterday was a blustery 57 degrees. 🥶 Happy Pizza Friday, friends!🍕🍷☀️

    1. Good morning, Peggi! Fresh new towels are certainly the best :) I love that edge detail, too. Vintage monograms feel like a major win, if you’re able to find your initial(s). There is no better feeling when that happens! Ha. I hate to admit it, but I’m with you on the sweats. I hardly ever where a bath robe, but our house guests enjoy them. It’s funny- we’re just not a robe family. My sister-in-law on the other hand… their entire family (including their 3 kids) live in bathrobes. They layer them over their lounge clothing on lazy weekends, constantly cuddle in them, and the youngest kind of treats her robe like a blanket. I never noticed it was such a thing until visiting them in Nashville recently. I kind of love it, but sweats are easy and don’t get in the way. Emmett calls my go-to sweats my “sleep suit”. Lol! I can only dream of the day we get to renovate our giant primary bath. It actually seems kind of daunting, but still very exciting. I’m excited to go camper-ing this weekend. I’ll have to report back with how the dogs react. I’m predicting Cash will love it and Crosby will hate it (it’s scared of everything). I think we got your cool weather today… it snow flurried this morning and it’s currently sitting in the high 40’s. Yikes. Here’s to pizza Friday and a fun weekend ahead. Hope you have a good one!

  2. Good morning! I didn’t realize it had been that long either! These towels look so lofty and snuggly-the pipe edged detail is swoon worthy! I especially love the sand and white set. I appreciate your idea to do a single letter thinking outside the box of a traditional monogram. I’ve never been overly enthused about our monogram with two L’s; it just never looks quite right. You’ve given me creative inspiration that makes personalization possible, lol. I can’t wait to peruse their site, and I’m especially stoked about a women owned business to support. I hope your first glamping adventure is a wonderful respite compared to tent camping. No doubt the dogs will be in hog heaven with the new digs. It should at minimum give you a decent idea of functionality. One thing I forgot to mention in the camper post; consider a solid colored Beddy for your staple mattress coverings. RV beds are notoriously difficult to make considering the tight accommodations (usually). Beddy’s are a simple solution for actually making the bed with ease, and there’s still the option to layer beautiful quilts or throws, and pillows. They actually just sent an email this week profiling their usage in RV’s. Anyway, have a lovely test run! We’re getting that rain I told you about. It’s a perfectly moody spring morning, with low temps into the early afternoon- and then in typical California fashion we’ll hit high 80’s this afternoon. 🤪 California is on one lately, but hey, gotta take the cool while it lasts! Cheers to pizza Friday design loving friends!

    1. I know- time flies! I still have a handful of monogrammed items with my maiden initials (SRB) and now I’m SRG. In terms of the look of it, I like my current monogram better than my previous one- because the negative space in the S and the G feels more balanced than the closed in B. Anyway, I’m a type nerd over here. Haha! All of that to say- I totally understand where you’re coming from with your double Ls. I just pulled our camper bedding out of the wash and am going to go make our bed. Thank you so much for the Beddys tip… I put the mattress protector and fitted sheet on and it was a STRUGGLE… I looked like a contortionist circus act trying to wiggle that thing on. Lol! We’re not going to full stock the camper yet (since we’ll be painting and what not), but I also need to make sure we have some plates for food, toilet paper, dog bowls, etc… the essentials & the bare minimum. I can’t wait to see how it goes! I’m a little nervous because a cold front came through- it snow flurried this morning and is currently in the 40’s. Yikes! I hope we don’t freeze because we wanted to head up into the mountains where it’s even cooler. Happy pizza Friday! Hope you also have a fun weekend ahead, my friend :) xo

  3. Happy Friday! I am so excited for you and your first trip with the RV! I hope the weather turns out beautiful for you.
I have never heard of Weezie towels. Their towels and robes look plush and thick. I too love a monogram. Wowzer to these bathrooms! Several I need to explore! Speaking of initials, I too never liked my maiden initials (DLL). I always thought it look weird in script. I like it better now…thank you honey! Ha! When my kiddos were little, I bought coffee mugs from Williams Sonoma in their first name initials but they didn’t have mine or my husbands. They had our last name initial which turned out great because I would tell guest who came over that the “F” stood for ‘friends’! Quirky story for ya!
This week has been busy catching up with house chores; son home from college; tagging along on daughter’s horse photo shoot, etc. Cheers to the weekend and reading about your adventure!

  4. Forgot to mention, I am deep diving in kantha quilts!!! I love all the ones you showed and looked for over an hour today. I may just get a summer weight blanket to see how we like it then later on a quilt (I have my eye on one already). xoxo friend

    1. I love hearing that, Danna! They’re perfect for summer- lightweight and lofty. We had excellent weather for our first camping trip- it was really wonderful (until the truck broke down). I’m glad to have shared a new towel brand with you :) They’re really nice! I’ll be sure to share mine once they arrive. I’m with you on the initials! We lucked out that our married name feels better to us. Ha! I love your “friends” mugs. I hope you’re having a productive week filled with family fun. I’m envious of your daughter’s horse shoot- I want to come! Haha! Cheers to another lovely week ahead. xo
