Shop My House

Amazon Finds : The Best Lighting - roomfortuesday.comSpring always feels like the appropriate season for change, house cleaning, upkeep, and positive updates… therefore, I made some minor tweaks to the blog / website that you might have noticed! One of those updates is a ‘Shop the House‘ section. I’ll copy and paste all of the resources in the post, but know that it will live permanently under the ‘SHOP‘ tab dropdown menu in the top navigation. Click through for a giant post filled with my favorite items, as well as other tiny updates I’ve made to make things more user-friendly.

I get a lot of ‘where is that from’ and ‘what color is that’ questions and sometimes it takes me a day or two to respond. I wanted to make it easier for you guys to find the answers to these types of questions. Every item and paint color from my house has been linked. I tried to link similar products for many of the vintage items, but if there’s something missing- odds are, it is sold out or has been discontinued. I’ll try to keep this new section super up-to-date.

Another change you might’ve noticed is the Home Tours (Utah & Ohio). I moved their position from the righthand sidebar to the top navigation. Once you click into each home tour, you can dive even deeper into each room. I’ve linked every relevant post possible! From furniture makeovers in each space to process images, and everything in between… it can all be accessed from that tab.

I also removed some clutter that wasn’t as helpful. If you’re missing the “latest posts” feature in the sidebar, it’s gone for good. I’m pretty positive it wasn’t getting clicked much anyway, and it seemed a bit repetitive since I feature the latest and greatest in the top slider each week.

Once the kitchen is finished, I’m planning to reshoot the entire house so you can see what it’s looking like these days. I’m always tweaking things and it’s fun to see how the aesthetic continues to evolve… even over a short period of time. I’ll definitely upload the new tour once that happens. I’ve also been working on new products to add to the store, so look for those soon! My to-do list is continually growing, and I’m crossing things off a little at a time.

Please let me know if you have any other suggestions, requests, or improvements to make the blog / website more user friendly- I’m all ears! I’ll be back with regular content tomorrow; I’m chatting millwork, mouldings, and trim.
