September Moodboard

How is it already time for another monthly moodboard?! Since fall is basically here, I’ve been feeling warm cognac colored hues- especially in leather or faux leather. Anyone else with me? Click through to see what I discovered this month! For those of you who love our leather bed- you’re going to dig this post. I found so many great pieces in that exact same color!

Does anything catch your attention from the above collage? I’m definitely feeling the leather ottoman (#4), the side table (#8), and the dining chair (#12). Oh! And I also have the leather jewelry roll (#2)… it comes in super handy for keeping things organized during travel, and it also makes a great gift!

I love the sophisticated addition cognac colored leather brings to a space. Whether it’s barstools in the kitchen (like above), or a tiny little pouf in a living space (like below), it really helps to warm things up while adding a masculine touch.

Remember Laurie Anne’s bedroom I recently finished? I added a leather lumbar to their bed and I like the warm tones it brings out in her beloved painting. A common misconception is that leather furniture or decor is only for cool or cold climates- but Laurie Anne lives in the desert of Arizona and trust me when I say- it’s a great material for any climate.

Are there any other cognac color fans out there? It’s one of my favorite naturals to use year round… but even more so in the fall!
