May Moodboard

May Moodboard : Moody Teal - roomfortuesday.com How are we already into May?! This year is flying by. This month’s color selection shouldn’t be a surprise because it’s a BIG part of our kitchen renovation. Ever since choosing dark teal colored cabinets, I’ve been really craving that color palette. I found A LOT of good inspiration for this month’s moodboard. Click through to see my finds and ways to use this color throughout your home…

01: teal headboard // 02: linen throw pillow // 03: upholstered storage bench // 04: plaid area rug // 05: teal journal // 06: patterned plate  // 07: patterned bowl // 08: velvet pillow // 09: stoneware planter // 10: cotton napkin set // 11: lounge chair // 12: alpaca throw

This was a pretty affordable roundup… my budget favorite from the mix is definitely the bench (#3)- and it includes storagel! That’s a win / win. You can’t go wrong with luxe textiles in this moody hue. The throw (#12), the rug (#4), and the cotton napkins (#10) are also favorites of mine.

To share an example of what our cabinetry could look like… I found the above image designed by the talented Jean Stoffer! If my kitchen turns out even half as amazing as that one, I’ll be very pleased.

My friends at Alice Lane designed the above library and I was immediately smitten with the dark painted walls. It feels sophisticated, charming, and also a little mysterious. I’m digging it! How’s that for a moody Monday? This might be one of my favorite moldboards ever! I hope everyone has a good week. This post has me VERY excited for our kitchen to unfold.

Love, love, love it! I have two vintage chairs very close to that Anthro one that I want to recover, but I struggled to find a perfect teal fabric (within my budget). I also tried to purchase a beautiful teal velvet love seat (with a brass plinth!) on Etsy, but the vendor ghosted when I asked about a negative review. (Is that bad form? IDK) Anyway, teal! Those dishes have a Juliska vibe, and I am really drawn to that pottery vase; I must be hanging around here too much.😁 Happy moody Monday!

Try eBay for fabric- I find the best deals there! That teal love seat sounds like it’s right up my alley… it’s a shame the vendor ghosted you- definitely a red flag. Have a great week, Peggi :)

I HATE to be this person, but the first paragraph has a typo and says “mold board” I just had to let you know. But, LOVE the mood board! It reminds me of your nightstands in the master.
