Ok, ok… I know what you’re thinking when you scroll through this post. White?! What a snoozefest. I know we’re all kind of over bright white, monochromatic spaces, BUT hear me out… this white moodboard is anything but boring or basic. White textural decor and accessories can really play up the color in your home. Actually, I kind of look at white home decor as an opportunity to go crazy with color elsewhere. It’s really the most versatile! Click through to see what I found- there are lots & lots of good things this month. Everything feels light, breezy, and bright for the long, hot days of summer. After all- some of my favorite classic staples are white: dishes, bath towels, lighting, etc.
Click directly on my finds below to be redirected to the source.
01: industrial pendant light // 02: wingback bed // 03: white textured rug // 04: bone inlay box // 05: marble tray // 06: stoneware planters // 07: terry bath towel // 08: knit throw // 09: table lamp // 10: white serving bowls // 11: basket planter // 12: horseshoe coffee table
Any of those catch your attention? I’m really loving the chunky knit throw (#8), the modern coffee table (#12) is calling my name, as well as the table lamp (#9). I’m predicting we’ll start to see more grecian inspired shapes and decor in the coming year. Have you been noticing that trend?

See! That post was pretty calming to the eye, right? I do love a classic white staple- especially if it’s full of texture and movement!

I hope everyone is having a great week so far. I’m prepping more kitchen posts and Emmett and I are planning to film our post project video diary tonight after the IG live Q&A. Thanks again for your amazing support and sweet comments! You made our day yesterday.

July 16, 2019 at 6:12 amOK. You know I don’t get too excited about white. I think that’s partially because I could never keep it clean in my house.😟 That said, I love white planters and anything marble or alabaster. But that coffee table is bananas!! Seriously. I also saw an all white and ivory outfit the other day that stopped my scroll…things to ponder.😎

July 16, 2019 at 10:55 amAaaahh pretty! Just what I needed for this high-90’s weather- breezy and light. Anything my family doesn’t touch or is a pain to wash, I try to add in whites. No towels, upholstery, rugs, or clothing but yes planters, dishes, side tables, walls, certain pieces of bedding.

July 17, 2019 at 6:14 amNot a snoozefest at all! I love it! The last image by disc interiors really speaks to me with the calming white and then browns and greens – colors of nature. To me, it’s the most natural color blend and one that makes me take a deep calming breath. Great picks and finds in your board!

July 18, 2019 at 4:16 pmI have seen that coffee table (and similarly shaped sofa tables) a lot lately and I am giggling… I’m a product of the 80’s! I am not sure if I really like it or just the nostalgia of it!

July 19, 2019 at 10:18 amRight? I’m also a product of the 80’s and I’m totally digging the shapes we’re seeing in design lately! :)
