Instagram 100k Thank you Giveaway
How was your weekend? I took a little social media break to tackle our longgg to-do list, and it was really nice to focus and get things done, but as promised- I’m back with a proper thank you today! Last week we hit a huge milestone I never thought Emmett & I would see… 100,000 followers on Instagram. 100k! It’s crazy to type that. I’m not a numbers girl and follower counts or stats have never been a big deal to me, but after six years of blogging and sharing- this definitely felt like a milestone worthy of celebrating. I wanted to write a heartfelt thank you and host a special giveaway to show my appreciation. You make this wonderful job (I love so much) possible. First things first… THANK YOU. I don’t know how many times I can say this, but I love and appreciate each and every one of you. Thank you for showing up here to chat with me, offer your encouragement, show your support, talk design & renovating with me, for taking the time out of your busy day to comment and like my work, and most of all- for being my friend. I’m awkward behind the camera, I don’t always have the right thing to say (or even the perfect design advice), and somehow there are 100,000 of you willing to follow along and accept my quirks anyway. My mind is honestly blown. In all seriousness, Emmett and I are so thankful for this journey and the opportunity to virtually meet so many wonderful people.
My goal for Room for Tuesday has always been to share design inspiration and educational content. I want you to leave here with something… whether it’s creativity, inspiration, design knowledge, or newfound product resources, my hope was to create and curate a community for design and home lovers. This blog has turned into so much more than I ever could have expected during those six years- and that transfers to my social media accounts, too. I’m excited for continued growth, sharing, community, and more creativity. Despite this being a very challenging year, I’m optimistic for the future… and that’s because of YOU.
Quick side note- I wanted to sneak in some images of my painted bust project, so they’d have a permanent place to live here on the blog. If you missed that project on IG last week- it’s saved to this highlight.
