  1. Good morning! Labor Day weekend sort of snuck up on me this year, but who can complain about a ton of sales and an extra day for goofing off? Our weather has definitely been spectacular lately, so I think lots of outside time is in order. Garden, dog park, maybe a hike? I wish I could finagle another day at the reservoir; SUP Yoga last weekend got me hooked! I hope you have the most wonderful anniversary adventure! I’ll anxiously await an envy inducing recap on Tuesday.😉 Safe travels, friend!
PS I definitely enjoyed yesterday’s Design Eye training, but my comment disappeared before I could post it. I think it “timed out” when I was attending to the pups. Thanks for the exercise, nonetheless.

    1. It really did, didn’t it? I can’t believe we’re already into September. Crazy!! While scrolling today, I read a sign that said, “There are only 120 something days left in the year, and I’m still processing 2020.” Truth. Lol! I’m so happy you’re having great weather! It has been a little cooler here, too. I’m ready for fall. Our garden somehow got a second life, and it’s producing more veggies, so maybe once those wrap up- I’ll fully embrace cooler temps coming our way. Your weekend plans sound incredible! You have me wanting to try SUP yoga!! Unfortunately all of our lakes in the area are closed, thanks to the drought and extremely low water levels… just another reason a pool would be great (SUP yoga at home, ha). Minus the great view though. Sorry about your comment yesterday. I’m a tech dummy and wish I could fix that part of my website. Oof. Have an amazing weekend ahead!!! xo

  2. Labor Day sale shopping is a must this weekend. I am scouring the internet for quite a few things: slim hallway benches, benches and ottomans for the end of the bed, king size bed frames…and a dishwasher🥴. Design question: do I have to purchase the same brand/line for all of my appliances? Is that recommended when all the major appliances are visible? I’m a Kitchenaid snob of sorts, and want to replace our current Kitchenaid dishwasher with another…but our range is no longer Kitchenaid. (Kicking myself deeply on this…on many levels). Have a lovely trip to the coast Sarah. We are experiencing cooler mornings, so that foggy morning beach experience is coming your way. Happy Anniversary you two!

    1. Ooooh, fun!! Ballard had some really awesome looking ottomans. One place I didn’t include, but have seen some great budget benches lately… Overstock! You might give that a try. The dishwasher is the expensive one- that’s never fun or exciting. I don’t think all of the appliances have to be the same brand. All of mine are different. As long as they look cohesive and function, I think you’ll be good :) I’m SO hoping the cool foggy mornings stick around for us. I told Emmett the only thing I wanted for our anniversary was weather… actual weather. It’s so dang sunny in Utah all the time. Lol! I could use some fog, rain, mist, some kind of precipitation. hahaha! Cheers to a fun weekend ahead. I hope you and your fam are able to relax. xo
