Thank You! (and a Giveaway)

noteworthyThis month I’m feeling especially grateful and excited! From the Room for Tuesday store opening to the Domino Blog Awards nomination, it feels like big things are happening over here. I owe that to you guys! Click through for a brand new noteworthy post, a thank you giveaway, and weekend inspiration….

First and foremost, if you have the time to vote each day until October 31st for Room for Tuesday in the Domino awards… please do that here. Thank you, thank you, thank you- really. I appreciate it so much. I’m among incredibly talented bloggers (who I admire) in the “everything” category and I’m definitely the little guy. Your support means the world!

Secondly, if you haven’t had time to check out the shop, give it a look! I add new and vintage finds every week. I’m having the most fun shipping decor and accessories to beautiful homes and people who appreciate them. Thanks for your words of encouragement, I’m hoping this part of the blog can really grow. As a thank you, you’ll find a giveaway for a print of your choice at the end of the post!

Alright, onto the noteworthy stuff…

Utah is gorgeous right now! Hence the insanely beautiful intro image. The aspens turn the brightest yellow I’ve ever seen. Sadly I’ve been constantly trapped behind my desk for the past few weeks and I’m making it a goal to go on a hike this weekend with the dogs, even if it’s just a short one. I’d love to take my camera and snap some images for prints. Someone requested a pine tree. This is why we moved here and I need to practice a better work / life balance anyway. This month has been the busiest! Anyone else feeling that way?

I found SO much inspiration in this interior article…. but then again, I’m a big fan of leather (obviously- we have a giant leather bed). Speaking of my master bedroom, I’ve swapped some things out in the space for fall and winter. I have a post planned to show you what I’ve done… stay tuned!

This airstream is bonkers. Emmett has been dreaming of buying a ‘fixer upper’ camper. While I think it would be really fun to gut one and travel around with our pups, I think I’d like to have a kitchen more at this point. Of course if we had an endless budget, I’d totally be on board. Maybe in the future! I actually think it would be a really good design challenge- you have to think of the aesthetic, but more about function and materials that are lightweight. Obviously we both like adventure and it sounds really amazing, but I’m definitely still set on the kitchen (despite his tempting persuasion). Would you guys follow along a camper renovation someday?

West Elm just emailed over my birthday reward money (yay!!) and I’m going to put my $25 towards a little gift to myself. These are also on sale right now! The scent is right up my alley and once I’m done burning the candle, I’ll use the marbled vessel as a planter. I see wine, candles, and a relaxing bath in my near future.

I’m finally making my blogger bf Joanna’s avgolemono soup this weekend and I can’t wait to try it! It has rave reviews and she shares the BEST recipes. Tomorrow sounds like the perfect fall day for comfort food- especially after an exceptionally busy week.

I know I promised to share a live Insta story about my makeup routine this week, and I’m really sorry I didn’t squeeze it in. I added it to my list for next week (fingers crossed). Maybe I’m procrastinating because it’s a bit out of my comfort zone? Ha! Oh well… a promise is a promise.

My last four purchases? A black floor vent for the bathroom (which I won’t even bother linking because that’s BORING), this wreath for fall (which I can use season after season, since it’s preserved)this bath brush for our ORC space, along with this black toilet brush. Toilet brushes are gross, I know… but they are sort of necessary- and if I have to have one, it might as well blend in with this gorgeous floor tile. I’m hoping nobody will even notice it tucked in the corner.

Ok- enough rambling. Go enter the giveaway for a print of your choice (you can choose the size too)! See the options in the shop.

Here’s how to enter:

  1. Follow Room for Tuesday on Instagram (bonus entry if you follow my personal account too)

Easy peasy! Good luck and THANK YOU. Everyone have an amazing weekend. I’ll choose a winner next week! xo

The print i’d like most is Windmills at 24×36

    1. Thanks, Ashley! Yeah, the photo is in Millcreek canyon… just 10 minutes away from our house. It’s hard to believe I live here, sometimes I have to pinch myself! Ha! Thanks so much for following. xo

The Florence Charcoal Print – 12×16 is beautiful!

    1. Thanks, Dana! That is one of my favorites… I created that charcoal drawing over five years ago and I still love it.

  6. Love following you for some inspiration! The Road Trip print in 14×14 is my favorite, reminds me of one of my many road trips!

    1. Thanks, Leah. I’m all about the road trips! xox

  7. You have such a great eye for amazing finds, and it’s so exciting that you are sharing them with us in your shop. I’m so excited to get my purchases, too!

  8. I love your blog and I’ve been so happy to have found it and your instagram! Not only is it always a treasure to see your posts but it’s been really inspiring for me as I decorate my own home. I would say that if I won the giveaway I would love to have the windmill print in 18×24.

    1. Your comment made my day, Lane!!

  9. Sarah I love your blog! It’s like one of those hidden gems , it’s really awesome following your Reno journey. I follow you on Instagram and Pinterest .
My fave print would be the palms in 18 x 18 , I just love black and white prints

    1. Thank you, thank you, thank you!! Really, I mean it. xox

  10. I would take that cover image in a heartbeat… but if i have to pick from the shop I pick the Road Trip print in 12 x 12. Also floor grates are boring- but I need to find some too- link it! Last 4 things I bought… Jeans for the hubs, a top for me that’ll also go with my Halloween costume, new dog bed and some new pillow covers/ bedding to go with our ORC Bedroom makeover. Fingers crossed it all arrives in time!

    1. Sadly it’s just an iPhone shot. I need to get in the habit of hiking with my big camera in case a photo opportunity presents itself. What’s your halloween costume?!

    2. Just Rosie the Riviter- I waited a little too long to plan this one out this year!

  11. Florencia says:

Congratulations Sarah on the nomination. I really do love reading your blog! Thanks for doing this awesome giveaway. My choice is the MOUNTAIN COTTAGE in size 18×24! THANK YOU!!

  12. stephanie says:

Congrats on the Domino nomination! I’ve been voting!
My favorite prints are the windmills, horses, and bison (impossible to pick just one).
Windmills because I love the black & white… and I’m also from Indiana where there are so many windmill farms near my parents’ house… reminds me of home :)
I also love the Bison and Horse prints because they remind me of Oklahoma, where my grandparents have a ranch. I spent so much time as a kid admiring their horses, and begging my grandpa to let me ride them!
And you gotta go 24×36 on the prints! I love the look of a big, bold frame.

    1. Thank you so much, Stephanie! All good reasons to love those specific prints. They have similar meaning to me. Dusty & Derby are both still alive and well on the farm. I used to ride both of them back in the day before moving.

  13. Definitely the horses as big as you can! My son is OBSESSED with horses!

    1. I LOVE that print, and I love riding those two horses. Thanks for following!

  14. Kiley Brodeur says:

Thanks for the giveaway! I would have to say the Windmill Print in the largest size. Thanks!

    1. Thanks for following, Kiley!

  15. DEFINITELY a kitchen over a camper! (guess I am voting on a couple things in your favor ;), haha). From the shop, I’d choose Dusty and Derby in color, 24×36, and it took me a minimum of 45 minutes to make that decision. Your photographs are gorge – hard to choose! I follow both insta accounts – good luck with the Domino awards, and congrats.

    1. Ha! Thanks for the backup. I totally agree. lol! So glad you like the prints, Jamie! Dusty & Derby are both living on my mother-in-law’s farm. It’s been a couple years since I took either of them out for a ride. Love the print though.

  16. Christina / The Water Tower Project says:

You certainly are one talented lady! I’ve obviously voted for you over at Domino! :) All of your prints are fabulous but one that caught my eye a little extra is the road trip print in 18×18 would be the perfect addition in my living room! :D xxx /Christina

    1. Right back at you Christina!! I am enjoying following your renovation too. Thanks so much for voting! xo

  17. Christina Willett says:

Fab! My pick is the florence charcoal – 12×16! Fingers crossed!

  18. Ah! I’m torn between the 14×14 Road Trip print and the 16×20 Beach Path print….they are both so gorgeous! I’m also HEAVILY considering the Tuscany watercolor…its just so beautiful and I love originals.

Love the stuff in the shop, keep it up!!

    1. Thank you SO much, really. I appreciate it. It’s been a lot of work, but I’m loving the shop aspect of the blog so much. Thanks for the encouragement!! xx

  23. Tara Slominski says:

The Bison Print (24×36) would fit in perfectly in my study. My partner is from the Badlands of N.D. and I’m getting a PhD in Zoology from NDSU (Go Bison!), so this print would be the perfect piece to tie in both of our backgrounds and interests!

    1. That’s so cool! I’ve only been to the badlands once and it was amazing and gorgeous and otherworldly. I definitely nerded out.

  24. Congrats on the Domino nomination! I would love to own the Florence print 11×14.

  25. Love that you are doing a giveaway! Definitely would choose the windmill print 24×36. The photograph is super ethereal and I love that the contrast and tones are so subtle. I have the perfect spot in my new house for it…the walls are a bit bare at the moment!

    Bison print, 24×36!
