A Pretty Hallway & A Runner Giveaway!

Hallway Rug Runner

I have an obsession with rugs- runners in specific. I’m always trading out my hallway runner and love the way it so easily transforms the space. We’ve teamed up with ecarpetgallery and are giving away a free runner!

Hallway Runner

I recently purchased this rug and am so happy with how it looks in my home (you guys know how I feel about green)… I love the subtle accents. I honestly can’t believe that I only paid $100 for an authentic wool rug (what?!!). I caught it during a sale and it definitely felt like a steal. Finn is pretty content with this pick, too… He’s been napping here lately.

I love the way it anchors my hall with bold pattern and compliments the color palette of my home. It really was the perfect find. Previously, I had this runner installed…but I think the new (above) option is more me. Which look do you guys prefer?

Aside from rugs, maybe I have a thing for hallways too? Do you guys remember this hallway makeover post? I probably just like having a designated place to add a runner. Where would you place your runner if you win?

Lovely!! The hallway of my new loft is crying out for a beautiful runner!! Happy Day!❤️

  2. Laurie Dorn says:

We downsized to a 1966 single level brick ranch in desperate need of a complete overhaul. We are living with a patchwork of original hardwoods full of carpet tacks, two types of beat up laminate, vinyl tile, retro pink ceramic tile, and last but not least TWO rooms of subfloor!
Our hallway is dark, long, and narrow. It needs a lovely ray of sunshine to disguise its time worn laminate and give it a vision for the future!

    1. Congratulations Laurie!! You’ve been randomly selected as the giveaway winner. Please email sarah@roomfortuesday.com within 24 hrs to claim your prize. Hopefully this will help give you a vision for the future ;) xo

  3. you inspire me to want to add a tiny dose of green to my home. our dining room area that leads to the kitchen could use some ecarpetgallery love. thanks for the chance.

    1. Thanks, Beth! I’ve always been comfortable using green tones, let me know if you try it ;)

    1. Thanks so much Lydia! Wool is my favorite carpet material, too. xo

  7. I would love one in my hallway!

  8. Beautiful! I would love a runner for the stairs from the livingroom to the bedrooms in my new house! It would also make it easier for my 11 year old Corgi to get up and down the stairs.

    1. Yes!! Finn is always sliding around on our hardwood floors. Poor guy. I bet your Corgi would love a new runner ;)

  9. My husband and I are in the process of buying our first home – a 1914 fixer upper! I’ve been eyeing the rugs from Ecarpetgallery for the last few weeks and am dreaming about how perfectly they would look in our new space – specifically our upstairs hallway! <3

    1. Sounds awesome! Good luck with the purchasing process. Our situation sounds super similar. xo

  10. Leah Prevost says:

I like the way your new runner doesn’t steal all the attention in the hallway. It brings everything together and you end up noticing all the details. I would use a runner in the hallway of our upstairs. It’s similar to the look of your hallway. Mine too would have dogs laying on it, it seems whenever I get a new rug they think it’s a new dog bed :) I Love Finns eyes in that picture ugh he’s so handsome.

    1. Thanks, Leah! That’s exactly what Finn thinks- it’s a new bed. Ha! I totally don’t mind though. xo

  11. My kitchen is in absolute need of a runner! Second runner up ( pun intended….ya…cheesy like that lol ) would be the front entrance. Thanks for this giveaway opportunity!

  12. Dana Moss says:

    1. Thank you Rachel! I run into that problem often… low profile because of a door.

  17. My entryway needs a runner in a bad way. For some reason the previous owners put tile in there even though it is open to the living room that has hardwood. It is a weird transition and the tile is just beige and blah. It needs a runner.

My number one priority is a long runner for the kitchen with the master bath and powder room both a close second.
