Roundup : Woven Light Fixtures

Woven and Wicker LightingObviously I have a thing for woven decor these days (this month’s moodboard is proof). One thing I’m excited to see resurfacing is woven light fixtures! They’re unexpected, add depth & texture, are pretty traditional, and a little bit quirky- in the best way. I’m predicting we’re going to see a lot of these installed in homes during the remainder of the year and even more so in 2018. Click through for a roundup of my favorites, and for inspiration on how to use them…

I’ve always wanted a woven pendant to hang above a dining able in an eat-in kitchen or breakfast nook. In my book, the larger in scale, the better. They’re casual, fun, and sophisticated without trying too hard. I’m really digging the funky shapes (#2, #3, #9, and #11). Wicker pendants add a classic statement to any room, but what I didn’t expect to love so much are the wicker sconces. #13 has me swooning! I might have to grab a pair of those for my office, when the time comes.

Wicker PendantsThey don’t just work above dining tables… you could install the woven look in any room in your home: floating above a kitchen island, making a statement in a living space, a hallway, an entryway, or even a library. They’re really versatile and work just about anywhere. One thing is certain, I can’t get enough of that texture. It’s too good! Which ones are you guys into? Do you think you’ll hop on the trend with me?
