Roundup : The Best Fire Pits & Fire Tables

Roundup : The Best Fire Pits & Fire Tables - roomfortuesday.comIt’s finally that time of year where we can comfortably enjoy our outdoor living space and take full advantage of perfect evenings outside. I for one, am welcoming the opportunity to sit fireside with a drink in hand alongside great company! One of the areas that people gravitate toward in our backyard is the fire pit… especially once it gets dark and the stars come out. The chairs around the fire are always occupied and their inhabitants are always the last to leave. It never fails! That’s where the good conversation happens. There’s something magical about the ambiance, warmth, and glow that attract people. I thought it’d be fun to roundup my favorite fire pits, in case any of you are in the market!

Roundup : The Best Fire Pits & Fire Tables - roomfortuesday.comI spent a ton of time scouring the internet for fire pits of every style and price. I sorted all of the options below by color… let’s start with black!

01: mod fire pit // 02: fire pit with wooden lid // 03: boxed fire pit // 04: round fire pit // 05: black fire table // 06: parker fire pit // 07: modern hex fire pit // 08: anson fire pit // 09: small fire pit // 10: shallow fire pit // 11: cast iron fire pit // 12: fire pit with legs

I’m about to pull the trigger on #7. I’m serious! I want to swap our white one out for that sculptural piece of art. That thing is drop dead gorgeous, and looks like something that Kelly Wearstler herself created. I’m hoping I can convince Emmett to let me sell our old one and swap it out sooner rather than later. I’m in love. Do you guys have favorites from the black options? I’m also digging #3 and #11.

Roundup : The Best Fire Pits & Fire Tables - roomfortuesday.comOne of my favorite things about having a fire pit is the option to toast s’mores during every backyard BBQ… obviously that’s part of the gig. If the fire is burning, s’mores are happening. That’s my motto! Anyway, moving onto the stone fire pits…

01: gray round fire pit // 02: stone gray fire pit // 03: pave stone fire pit // 04: round stone fire pit // 05: rumble stone fire pit

It really doesn’t get better or more durable than a stone fire pit. They look classic, well made, and will never go out of style. I could easily envision any one of these surrounded by lush green landscaping (like boxwoods or topiaries) for a very classy patio or outdoor entertaining area.

Next up, let’s chat about copper and rust colored fire pits. These are often made of iron and weather really well…

01: steel fire pit // 02: cast iron fire pit // 03: wood burning fire pit // 04: modern fire pit // 05: real flame fire pit // 06: iron fire pit // 07: red ember fire pit

How fun is the shape of #6? It’s a win / win… a fire pit and storage for your firewood. I like that it elevates the bowl and acts as a functional pedestal. I’m also really loving the classic shape of #7.

Roundup : The Best Fire Pits & Fire Tables - roomfortuesday.comSpeaking of firewood holders, check out this post for TONS of those. We have this one. Next up- cement and concrete colored fire pits…

01: traditional fire pit // 02: modern concrete fire pit // 03: wood burning fire table // 04: cement fire table // 05: modern gray fire pit // 06: classic concrete fire pit

From this batch, #1 and #2 are calling to me… total opposites- but both are so beautiful! I’m all about mixing traditional into modern and vice versa. That juxtaposition always works well. I’d love to hear your favorites from the post!

  2. I’d like to know more about the U-shaped log storage “table” with 2 “cubbies” for storing logs. You show it decorated with candles. Thanks!

    1. I actually don’t know much about it… it was an existing structure on Jacqueline’s back patio. She painted it, but other than storage, that’s all it’s used for.

I have a question about the white fire pit you own. Did you build it from scratch or purchase it from a box store
