Pinterest Worthy

I’m just going to be 100% honest and put this out there- today’s actual blog post didn’t get finished. Tomorrow there will be an epic post sharing six(!) ways to style a nightstand and I know you’ll love it! I just couldn’t get it finished in time, and I’m a quality over quantity type of gal. It’s been a crazy busy week wrapping up the office renovation, meetings, and all sorts of other things, but I did want to share a handful of my Pinterest boards with you! Click through for inspiration and to hear why you’re missing out if you’re not already following along…

Earlier in the year, I spent a ton of time and energy revamping and reorganizing  my Pinterest boards. It’s my favorite social media outlet and I take my inspiration archiving very seriously. I spend an hour on Pinterest every morning, believe it or not. It’s my favorite way to start the day… coffee in hand! You can also find every single blog post and Instagram image filed away on my Pinterest profile.

The Complete Kitchen Renovation Budget - roomfortuesday.comWhether you’re trying to get your creative juices flowing or are just killing time throughout the workday, I have a ton of curated boards that can help! From interiors and exteriors to fashion and DIY projects… there’s basically something for everyone.

My favorite boards as of lately? Here you go… in order:

#1 : front doors // There’s something about fall that makes me admire a nice front door and good curb appeal. It’s probably because I love being outside this time of year and take the dogs on extra walks.

#2: storage + shelves // There is no such thing as too much inspiration when it comes to styling built-ins and bookcases. This board is one of my very favorites!

#3 : fashion // Basically this board makes me look cooler than I am. I wish I was more fashion forward, so I could live up to this Pinterest board. I want every single outfit, but let’s get real… working from home means comfy pants most of the time. Ha!

#4 : landscaping design // I just added this board last month, and I’m glad I did! Emmett is the landscaping guru and I’m trying to learn to explain what I like to him. Thankfully, Pinterest is helping to inspire me and relay the aesthetic I’m going for when it comes to curb appeal and outdoor living.

#5 : recipes + food // Again, it’s probably the season, but I’ve been enjoying pinning all the comfort foods and pumpkin desserts that October is known for. The gorgeous food photography is also pretty inspiring!

Just because you read this post that wasn’t even supposed to be a post (ha!)… I thought I should share something to make it worth your while! You know how I mentioned Emmett wants a garage sooner rather than later? Well, we may or may not be house hunting. I promise to spill the details soon, but another renovation is in the works. I suck at secrets- who knows what will happen.

All of that to say- thanks for reading ’til the very end, following along on Pinterest (my favorite social media platform), and for giving me some grace when some weeks are just too busy for regular blog content. I hope you know how much I appreciate you all. Happy Thursday, friends! xox

  1. Hmmm. I like Pinterest primarily for recipes…probably because I need to figure out how to navigate better. Honestly, I’m not sure any of my social media feeds make sense to me sometimes! Your boards certainly reflect the time and thought you give them. A board for front doors! Wait. House hunting?! Now that’s exciting!! Who could keep that a secret? (I basically have to avoid human contact to keep a secret!)

    1. That’s where I find all of my recipes too! I’m the same way… if humans are around, no secret is safe. Haha!

  2. House hunting?! Can’t wait to hear more details on that!!

    1. Coming soon! I’m the WORST secret keeper.

  3. I love and value Pinterest, too! I treat it as my archives, and I love the new features for organizing pins. I’m glad you take it seriously as well – when I hear people refer to it as frivolous, I think, “Well clearly you just don’t get it.”

    1. Yes!! It’s such a great tool. I feel like it’s way more productive than other social outlets.

  4. The link at the bottom didn’t work for me. I wondered what you would do, you are on the last room! Good luck on your house hunting. Have a great weekend.

    1. Uh oh! Thanks for letting me know… I’ll dig around and see what’s going on. Hope you have an amazing weekend as well! xox
