Maple Bourbon Cider

Maple Bourbon Cider

It’s that time of year again, so gather with friends and take in all things fall! One of my favorite cocktails this season is Maple Bourbon Cider. Being a Kentuckiana gal, you already know I’m a big fan of bourbon. The maple flavor really makes this cocktail perfect for October, plus it’s an easy one to shake up.

Here’s what you need!

Ingredients (makes 3 cocktails):
6 oz. Bourbon (I used Woodford Reserve)
1/2 oz. pure maple syrup (or to taste)
1/4 oz. fresh squeezed lemon juice
1 cup spiced apple cider
1 apple, for garnish

Instructions:
Prepare garnish: using a spiralizer, slice apple into thin strings and set aside. Prepare glasses: add one large ice cube to each glass. In a cocktail shaker, add bourbon, syrup, lemon juice, and cider- shake vigorously. Strain into each glass and garnish with apple spirals.
