In the spirit of all things wedding (since I’m manning coco+kelley for Cass and am currently en-route to Indiana for bridesmaid duty), I thought it would be fun to share a DIY that would be perfect for easy, handmade wedding favors: mini clay succulent planters. Aside from wedding favors or gifts, these are also really fun to make for yourself! Think of it as an inexpensive, easy DIY that is basically like playdough for adults. I had LOTS of questions when I shared the behind-the-scenes on Instagram stories– so here are the deets. Yeah – you’re going to want to try this… I made 5 planters and did the entire project (plants included) for under $20. This is definitely the perfect DIY for summertime. It is a little messy, but also a lot of fun. The process is actually really easy and if you have kids- they’d love this one too.
I’m sharing the full tutorial, supply list, and detailed instructions on coco+kelley today, but to sum it up… these are really easy to customize and are pretty much fool proof. I ended up with lots of options I really loved.
Let me know what you think and comment with any questions! I’ll definitely be doing this one again.
