Black and White Bathroom

You guys know I enjoy restyling my home often, so I decided to take one for the team and show you the huge difference textiles make in a bathroom. I shot my bathroom 5 ways and am sharing the results on coco+kelley today. You’d be surprised at what trading the shower curtain and towels can do for a space!

Turkish Rug in Black and White Bathroom

If you follow along on Instagram, you’ve probably heard about my current obsession of swapping my regular towels for turkish towels. I also can’t get enough of this leather sling stool. It’s been floating all around the house. Stay tuned for the breakdown of my favorite looks on Room for Tuesday, coming soon!

  1. My peeve is the electric toothbrush. It’s ugly, it has an ugly cord that has to be plugged in, it’s hard to hide. One day I’ll see if an electrician can put an outlet INSIDE my vanity!

Also, there’s not enough space for hanging towels in the small bathroom. I’m thinking of switching to hooks, but worry the towels won’t dry well enough.

  2. Hi, I am wondering about those awesome mirrors! Where did you get them? I am looking for something similar to go above an ikea vanity. Beautiful bath!!

    1. Thank you, Carrie! The mirrors are from miles+may. They’re a boutique wood working studio… I found them online about 4 years ago.

  3. where is the B&W shower with the fringe from? thanks!

    1. It’s from West Elm, but it’s currently sold out.

  4. I love your rug, can you tell me where that’s from?

    1. Thanks, Lindsey! Unfortunately, it’s vintage. I found it at an estate sale… I wish I could be more helpful! xo

I’m searching your past posts to find tips for hanging towel racks/hooks in bathrooms. Are there any design “rules” about positioning/height?

    1. I don’t think I’ve ever posted about that… good idea though! Typically the rule is 48″ above the floor, but sometimes it’s wherever it will be most convenient or a good reaching height from the shower or bath. We’ll be stacking towel bars in our new bathroom. Hope this helps! xo
