Amazon Finds : The Best Lighting

Amazon Finds : The Best Lighting - roomfortuesday.comI’m guessing you wouldn’t think to look for light fixtures on Amazon, right? I recently discovered a TON of fantastic lighting options, so you better believe I’ll be taking advantage of my Prime membership and free shipping. Click through for my favorite pendants, flush mounts, sconces, chandeliers, lamps, and everything in between that is offered on Amazon. I found lots of the fixtures I already own for less… which is a bummer for me- but good news for you guys. Hundreds of fixtures comin’ atchya in this post- I got carried away!

I tried to make this roundup easier by doing away with linked numbers below- especially since there are SO many options… let me know if you have any issues or questions!

Amazon Finds : The Best Lighting - roomfortuesday.comPendants are a necessity in kitchens, but I’ve also grown accustomed to placing pendants above a mirror in a bathroom as well. They can even float about a nightstand in a bedroom setting. Perhaps you have a small dining area or breakfast nook, and need something smaller than a chandelier? Install a pendant! They’re basically a safe bet for any room. The pendant in the intro image hangs in my bathroom (you can grab it for less below – #1) and the above pendant used to hang above our bed at our Ohio home.

I have multiple favorites from the collage, but I’ll keep it short & sweet and list them out: #4, #8, #12, #16, & #19 …. I’ve ALWAYS wanted one of those faceted stars. That’d be perfect in an entryway. We had #9 hanging in the back entry of the mudroom of our previous home (shown below).

Amazon Finds : The Best Lighting - roomfortuesday.comSconces are probably my favorite type of light fixture because they’re so versatile. They can live in any room in the house and just look like they belong. Seriously… think about it- they can go ANYWHERE: kitchen, bathroom, living room, bedroom, kids room / nursery, hallway, mudroom, laundry room, etc. The list goes on and so does my love for these easy fixtures.

My favorites from the roundup include #1 and #10. I also have to say #15 looks identical to our bedroom sconces and they’re at least HALF the price. Don’t you hate when that happens? Yeah, me too.

Amazon Finds : The Best Lighting - roomfortuesday.comI’m a big fan of indirect, soft light. Rather than switching on our overhead lights, you’ll find me turning to a lamp first. Sadly, we don’t have a ton of room in our Utah home for lamps (ideally I want at least one per room), but I’m definitely planning to add a couple to my office this spring- stay tuned for that room reno!

From this roundup, I already own #5, #10, and #15. I also just bought #7 (while drafting this post). Is that cutie a score or what?! I couldn’t believe it.

Amazon Finds : The Best Lighting - roomfortuesday.comI’m a sucker for a big statement chandelier over a dining table. There’s something perfectly dramatic about a good fixture that anchors a space and adds interest. MY NEW CHANDELIER for the dining room is in the mix below… any guesses?

If you guessed lucky #5, then you’re right! I can’t wait to see that baby hanging in our brand new dining room. Other top picks from this one include: #1, #6, #16, and #20.

Amazon Finds : The Best Lighting - roomfortuesday.comLet’s get real… most of our homes require flush mount light fixtures. Odds are, if you have standard height ceilings, a flush mount fixture is the most practical solution, as well as the most functional. I may be dreaming of vaulted ceilings and open spaces all day long, but our small house requires many of these. Instead of being bummed about basic flush mounts, the following have plenty of style and drama that are anything but ordinary! Just because your house is average (like mine), doesn’t mean you can’t jazz it up.

There are lots of good shapes in this one! I’m digging #2, #4, #12, #17, and #19. I know, I know… that’s a lot, but it’s tough to narrow it down. I think I’ll probably buy #17 for our laundry room when the time comes for that reno.

Amazon Finds : The Best Lighting - roomfortuesday.comI know that was lonnnng, but what’d you guys think? Helpful? I’m certainly more optimistic about shopping for lighting on Amazon after all that digging. For those of you wanting access to designer products, like lighting, Amazon is a great resource. Happy Monday!

    1. Thanks so much, Beth! Glad you enjoyed the post :) xo

  2. I would love to know where the sconce in the lead image (for the sconce section) is from – our new house has the UGLIEST sconces in the living room, and I’m desperate to replace them, but they require something that’s very flush to the wall, which has been tough to find. Love this roundup – I always forget to check amazon for lighting!

    1. That one came from Wayfair! Same here… it’s not until I start digging on Amazon that I uncover so many deals and gems. It’s definitely a new go-to for lighting. Happy Monday! xox

  3. This is SO helpful! I’ve been looking for great flush mount options to replace the boob-shaped ones the builders put on every ceiling surface (even 2 next to each other in a small stair well?) in our house. Thank you! Please keep posts like these coming, I love good finds!

    1. Yay, so glad! Boob lights are the worst. We still have a couple in our house that need to go… we just haven’t gotten around to updating them all. Hopefully soon! xo

  4. How about bath sconces where there is only one electric box over the vanity sink.

    1. From the sconce roundup, #2, #9, #10, and #12 would all be great options!

  5. Do you think you could add some more sconce recommendations that are plug-in and not hardwired? I’ve been looking for some options for my master bedroom, and I feel like it’s so much harder to find plug-in as opposed to hardwired. Thanks in advance, Sarah! Great post!

  6. Where is the star shaped one with the exposed bulb ( in the lead picture for flush mounts ) from?

  7. You read my mind! I’ve been hunting some new lamps! Thanks Sarah!

    1. Woohoo!! Hopefully you find something you love, Keah :)

  8. Toni Scandale says:

I am not seeing which one is the floor lamp with the single head shown in the picture with the bed. Exacly what I am looing for!

    1. Hi Toni! That one was from Target a few years back. Hope this helps you track it down. xo

  9. Marjo Tanis says:

Where can I find that gold/glass side table? I love it. The one with the white block table lamp on it next to the couch.
